Amethyst kicks a stone to Cinderace, who kicked it back happily. "We are almost there bud, and then we can settle in. It's good to finally settle down." "Ace!" She grabs her keys and stops in front of the door, jamming the keys into the lock and pushing open the door. "Welcome home Cinderace." She explores the house a bit, before entering her bedroom and placing her bag on the bed and begins to unpack. She peels off her shirt, being left in only her sports bra, and heaves a box onto the bed, pulling it open, revealing some of the few items she had moved from place to place.

She takes out two photos, one with Hop and Victor when they received their starters, and the other of her trying, and failing, to teach Raihan how to play guitar. She traced their frames with the tips of her fingers, smiling softly and wondering about their well-being. She knew that they were fine, as she followed her brother on Pokegram. Amethyst contemplates contacting them but shakes her head. Any contact and they'll want me to go back. She bit her lip, tears coming to her eyes. She wouldn't lie, she missed them dearly. Cinderace calls to her and she turns to find her partner, looking at her worriedly. "I'm fine Cinder, I just miss them, and I'm sure you do too." "Ace..." Cinderace placed a paw on her shoulder, and Amethyst chuckled. "I wish I could understand you, but thank you Cinderace." She sets the photos down, before realising she needed to let her other pokemon stretch their legs.

She let out the remaining 5 pokemon on her team, laughing as Dragapult curled herself around her, licking her face. Lucario wasted no time in flopping onto the bed, and Manectric only added by piling on top of the tired Aura Pokemon. Corviknight almost immediately moved out of the cramped room, Greninja, the only non-galarian pokemon in the room sighed annoyed. Amethyst laughed, and continued unpacking. She eventually got lost in setting things up around her room, music blasting from her Rotom-Phone.

Amethyst jumps slightly when she hears a sharp knock on her door, and turns. "Coming!" She then proceeds to rush to the door from the other side of the house, almost slipping right onto her face due to the wood. She opens the door, poking her head out. Her eyes met the dark ones of a tanned boy around her age. He had dark brown hair with few red pieces, and was very obviously shirtless. "Hello?" She more spoke, but more like asked, slightly flustered at the attractive man that stood in front of her, who waved. "Alola. You're our new neighbor right?" She nodded and opened the door, stepping onto the porch. Kiawe blushed at the girl, who didn't realise she was only in her sports bra and athletic shorts. He cleared his throat, placing his hands in his pockets. "My mother wanted me to invite you over for dinner tonight." She smiled and nodded. "Sounds good, I'm Amethyst by the way." She held out her hand, to which he shook. "Kiawe. Where are you from? Your accent is't exactly Alolan." She blinks in surprise, not expecting to be noticed that easily. "Oh, Galar. Kind of far from here." "Cinder?" Amethyst turns around. "Oh, and this is Cinderace. He is my partner." Kiawe crouched down to his height. "Nice to meet you Cinderace." "Ace, Cinderace!" Kiawe glances up, before standing. "So what brought you over to Alola?" Amethyst pauses and fidgets with her hands. "I was tired of traveling and wanted to settle down for a bit. I Left my original region due to family problems, and Alola seems like the perfect place to be."

Kiawe paused. "Well, if you have any problems, let my family know. We are on that plot of land over there." He pointed in a direction and Amethyst could just barely make out a house. "Sounds good, and if you want my land is open for grazing, I moved out here because it is quiet and isolated." He nods before checking the time. "Alright, I best be going, I have some deliveries I need to make. Dinner is at 6:30." She smiles. "Thanks Kiawe. I'll be there." He turned around and released a Charizard, climbing on it's back and flying off. She turns to the land, finding a good spot for a studio. She would be able to play her instruments, sing, and draw to her heart's content. She mapped out the spot, and stood happy. There would be people showing up to help her build it, and she would assist.

She then headed inside, pulling one of her guitars out of its case along with her song book. She strummed a few chords, trying to fit the notes to the lyrics written. She had gotten half-way through the second verse when she checked the time, and scrambled to get herself in decent clothing. She pulled her hair into a ponytail and called Corviknight, who crooned happily and was sure to help Amethyst climb onto his back. Cinderace followed close-behind, settling himself in front of his partner. She called for her pokemon to behave before Corviknight took to the sky at a fast pace.

Mere minutes later she arrived, Corviknight landing heavily next to Kiawe, who was taking a saddle off of Charizard. He jumped as the large bird landed in front of him with a solid 'thump', and Charizard jumped as well. He relaxed as his new neighbor and her partner slid off of the large bird's back. "Sorry if I'm late, I got caught up with some stuff." Kiawe chuckled, hauling the saddle to the stand for it nearby. "It's alright, I just got in, deliveries were a little rough today." Amethyst sighed in relief. "Thank Arceus, I was worried I would make a bad first impression."

A young girl, maybe 11 or 12, poked her head out through the door, eyes brightening when she noticed Kiawe. "Kiawe you're back!" She shouted excitedly, tackling him into a hug. She turned her attention to Amethyst, tilting her head slightly. "And are you our new neighbor?" Amethyst nods. "Nice to meet you." The young girl approached Amethyst, a large smile on her face. "You are very pretty. I like your eyes." Amethyst blushed lightly, not used to compliments after traveling on her own for the past 3 years. "Thank you, you are very pretty yourself." The young girl smiled even wider. "Thank you!" An older woman stuck her head out the door. "Mimo! Is Kiawe back yet?" Amethyst felt the woman's eyes stop on her. "Oh, hello there." Amethyst waved awkwardly in response. "Hi." The woman smiled before ducking back inside. "Rango! Both Kiawe and the new Neighbor are here!" She called. "Got it dear! I'll be right out!" Another voice replied and the woman walked forward, taking Amethyst's hands in hers. "Good to meet you. I'm Sima, Kiawe and Mimo's mother." Amethyst smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you Sima, I'm Amethyst. It's a pleasure to be here, thank you for inviting me over." A man, who she could assume was Rango, set a large platter of food on the table. Sima was quick to pull Amethyst over to the table, where she was sat in between her and Mimo. Cinderace joined Charizard, who was sat next to Turtonator and who she could assume was a Marrowak.

Amethyst waited patiently to see if they had any customs for food, which she had learned to do while visiting Kanto. She was glad she did, as Sima began speaking. "We would like to thank Wela Volcano for providing us with this nutrient rich meal and Tapu Lele for protecting the Island and the people on it." She then waited for them to begin eating, and then followed. A few bited in, Rango was the first to speak up. "So, Amethyst right?" She nodded. "Where are you from?" She smiled softly. "I'm from Galar, although I haven't been there in about 3 ½ years. I've been traveling the regions with my team." Mimo lit up excitedly. "Does that mean you were there during the Darkest Day?" Sima paled. "Mimo you can't just ask that-" Amethyst laughed. "Yes, I was. If you look at the match about to take place, I was the one against the champion." Mimo's eyes widened. "Really!? So that means you are the one who caught the Pokemon, Eternatus wasn't it?" Amethyst nodded. "It's currently under the care of Professor Sonia and her Assistant Hop." She ate a bit, letting them process the information. "So, why did you leave Galar?" Amethyst shrugged. "I had some family problems and got sick of their treatment of me. After I lost to the champion, I packed up everything and left, heading to Kalos." She took a bite, watching Sima's expression grow sad. "How old are you?" "I'm currently 16, just had my birthday a few weeks ago." Mimo smiled, tugging on one of Amethysts long sleeves. "That means you are Kiawe's age! He's turning 16 soon!" She looked and met Kiawe's eyes. "Thats neat. It'll be good to know someone around my own age."  The rest of the night was filled with mindless chatter, eventually getting to her Dynamax Band and the Megastone on her choker. "I can't Dynamax outside of Galar, but I like to keep it on me. It's something that reminds me of my journey." She smiles softly as she traces the red X on the band with the tip of her finger.

A short distance away, a pink pokemon stared curiously at the new girl. She grew interested in the newcomer as she listened to the story being told. It nodded, knowing what needed to be done, and flew off to find Olivia and snag a Z-Ring. While battling was Tapu Koko's thing, Tapu Lele wanted to see what this trainer could do.
