It was the next day when Kiawe returned with Raihan, who immediately pulled Amethyst into a hug. Raihan assured her that everything would be fine, and she agreed to meet with a small group of them, namely Bede, Marnie, and Nessa. She agreed as long as her brother or Kiawe were there.
So there she sat on her cramped couch, hands folded in her lap and the three looking at her, not knowing what to say. "So, why?" Marnie asked slowly, and Amethyst laughed lightly, rubbing the sides of her arm. "That is the question isn't it. I'm sure Raihan already told you some of what happened. Basically, my parents were complete and total dicks, and with them criticizing me for my loss against Leon and the added Trauma from the darkest day, I couldn't handle it anymore and left."
"To Kalos I assume?" Nessa asked, and Amethyst nodded. "There, I stumbled onto the Regional Professor, Augustine Sycamore. He offered me a place to stay, helped me cope with the trauma, and convinced me into taking on the Gym Challenge. It was nice because no one would know who you were other than the Gym Staff unless you become champion." She glanced over to Kiawe out of the corner of her eye, who gave her an encouraging smile.
"I didn't feel as pressured. I didn't have any negativity, and I hardly knew anyone. I only knew the few people I had met while starting my journey there." She glanced over at the photos on the wall.
"There you can see Calem, or as we jokingly call him, Camel. He is from a long line of trainers, and my self-proclaimed rival, although he was fun to battle. He chose Chespin, which gave him a type advantage compared to me, so I had to be smart with the members on my team." She smiled.
"Then there was Tierno and Trevor. They were hardly seen without one another. Tierno loves to dance, and all of his pokemon do too. Trevor never really battled, and was quite shy, but always made sure to catch pokemon to help the professor fill out the pokedex." She gave a soft smile.
"Then, there was Shauna. She really cheered me up and helped me out when I had an episode after we defeated Lysandre, and is really bubbly. She focused on Pokemon Performance, and wasn't bad at all." She smiled. "To get through the Gym Challenge and Calem's constant challenges, I needed to get myself a somewhat balanced team."
"I caught a Fletchling, and I named her Arrow. She was one of my Ace's once she fully evolved. She was quick, and packed a lot of power. I also caught Aqua, a Flygon, as a Trapinch. Both of them are now retired from battling after the End-Of-The-World Fiasco with Team Flare." She looked at a picture of her with a large bird pokemon on her arm.
"After that, I had even more trauma after almost dying, again. I eventually saved the regional Legendaries, Xerneas and Yveltal, who were in a sleep-like state after exerting all of their energy during the last war." She relaxed into the worn padding of the couch.
"I then made my way through Victory Road and through the Elite 4, which surprisingly wasn't difficult. Then, I faced Diantha, and it was honestly one of the toughest battles I've ever had, but it was one of the most enjoyable battles I've had to date." Amethyst smiled. "With that battle, I completed one of the goals I had set for myself."
Bede raised an eyebrow. "And what was that?" Amethyst smiled. "To prove I wasn't weak. And I wasn't. Leon is just incredibly strong. I found out easily, that I was capable of becoming Champion, it was just that Leon was crazy strong." Amethyst gave a look at the trio. "I beat the Kalosian Champion." Marnie's jaw slackened. "Although, I turned down the position as I didn't want to be found. I then moved on to Unova, completing the gym challenge there as well. I helped to take down Team Plasma"
She smiled. "It was quite amusing to see the look on Alder's face when I decimated his team. I mean, who has 3 Bug Types?" She sighs. "I let him keep his position, and then before I left, a traveling buddy whoops him and takes his title as Champion. She challenged me to a battle, which ended in a draw." She smiled. "She and Raihan would get along well. She was raised in the Village of Dragons, and has 3 Dragon-Types on her team."
She glanced at the group. "After Unova, I went to Kanto, where I met the Renowned Professor Oak. I learned a lot from that trip, mostly medicine and culture. The Gym Battles there were quite difficult, but I eventually challenged one of the 2 friends I made for the title as Champion, and won. I once again left the title to him, and went to the top of Mount Silver to get to Johto, but there I met a quiet man, who I believe helps to run the battle tree now. His name was Red, and he was a difficult battle, for sure. While in Kanto, I ended a second Uprising of Team Rocket, who Red had taken down previously."
Amethyst couldn't focus on anything in front of her in particular, she had zoned out, recalling memories. "I didn't take on the Gym Challenge in Johto, I felt no need and wanted to spend time exploring with my 4 party members that stayed frequent. All of my caught pokemon would be sent to Professor Sycamore and they made a large ruckus for him, that's for sure. In Johto I stopped Team Galactic from opening the Distortion World and using the Time-Space-Reality Trio to take over the world."
She let's out a sigh. "Then came Hoenn, I saved the Professor from getting mauled by a low-leveled Poochyena, and was gifted Treecko as a thanks. We went through the Gym Challenge and stopped Team Magma and Team Aqua from destroying the world over their bickering over destroying land and ocean, or whatever. They summoned the Water and Land legendaries, pissed them off and they began fighting. Rayquaza stepped in and broke them up, and Maxie and Archie got their butts whooped and their teams destroyed." Bede sweatdropped.
She let out a huff. "People really need to stop trying to take over the world when litteral teens can stop them. Anyways, after kicking Steven Stone's ass and forcing the title of Champion back onto him, I moved here and settled down." She glanced at the trio. "I met Kiawe, became a nurse, and blabbed my secret accidentally leading us here. The end."
The three gym leaders just gave her a look like: 'How tf are you not traumatized with all of this crap.' and she shrugged. "I learned how to cope pretty well with all of the end-of-the-world and destruction crap, although I do get flashbacks to the Darkest Day quite a bit as Victor jumped in front of an attack aimed for me and almost died, but I have learned to cope."
Marnie just gave her a smile. "I'm glad your copin' a'ight. I'd hate to see ya hurtin'." Amethyst shrugged. "Thanks Marns. Anxiety is a bitch though, and it's mostly the reason I booked it from ya back at the school."

The next day she told the same story to Leon, Kabu, and Milo, who were all silent up until the end. Milo looked at her sympathetically, and Kabu and Leon looked proud. "You've really grown Amethyst. I'm sure now you'd be able to defeat me." Amethyst laughed. "Maybe, but right now I'm on a break from battling until I decide to continue the Island challenge."
Melony's reaction was the most dramatic, with her bursting into tears and hugging Amethyst tightly. Gordie just looked plain embarrassed and Sonia was holding back snickers at Amethyst's annoyed expression.
Bea and Allister were the quietest, and they just said that they were glad she was alright.
She was relieved at how well it went, but she begged them, like literally on-her-knees begged them, to not tell her parents where she was at.
She didn't want to see or speak to them ever again unless forced to. They would be allowed to announce that she was found and safe, but would not be allowed to disclose any of her living information.
It was also agreed upon that Amethyst would go and assist the Alolan Teens through the Gym Challenge, which Nurse Joy happily agreed to as long as Amethyst would tell her about the techniques they used in Galar.
At the end of the week, she and Kiawe had settled down into their once bi-weekly event of playing video games, in which Kiawe actually beat her a few times. They fell asleep on the couch together, soundly asleep.
