Around 6:45 was when she was awoken by Kiawe, who was there to take her and Mimo to Mele Mele after deliveries. Unfortunately, Mimo drank some expired Moomoo milk and got food poisoning from it, so she was home for the day, so it would be only her and Kiawe.
Amethyst groggily got dressed after kicking Kiawe out of the room, washing her face and almost flinching at the zombie that stared back. She continued to wash her face and put on some eyeliner before sighing. Today she was in a random athletic shirt, a leather jacket, and a pair of black pants with combat boots. She had her pokemon belt across her hips and a black choker, with crescent moon and a slot to hold her Keystone, which she slid in easily and locked in place. She returned her pokemon, leaving Corviknight to rest and instead taking Noivern with her. She met Kiawe, who was playing with Houndoom, who panted happily.
She followed him outside to Charizard, who was waiting patiently for them. Kiawe helped the girl onto Charizards saddle, feeling her wrap her arms around his waist. Charizard quickly took to the Skies, and after a short while, Mele Mele island was in their sights, and Amethyst was more awake. "We'll get some breakfast when we land. My school starts at 8:30, and it just hit 7:00. If all deliveries go well, we'll be finished by 7:45, giving us about a half-hour before I need to get to the school." She smiled. "Sounds good. I can't wait to do some exploring." He chuckled as Charizard began to glide downwards. "If you can manage to wait until 4:15 when school lets out, I can show you around the Island, assuming that I don't get dragged along with Lillie, Lana, and Mallow to go shopping again." She laughed. "I assume that's a regular occurance?" "You have no idea." They land at what Amethyst assumes is their first stop, and a young boy runs out to greet Kiawe, talking excitedly and giving him a hug. "Thanks Cousin!" The boy called before heading back inside. Kiawe climbed back onto Charizard, who grumbled happily at the pets he received. The deliveries went smoothly for the most part, aside from the fact that Kiawe almost got Mauled by a pissed off Taurus.
They settled down at a small cafe, Amethyst getting a coffee and a Croissant as it reminded her of Kalos. They chatted idly until it was time for Kiawe to head off to school. She handed him his lunch, telling him she was just going to look around in the shops for a little while, and that she'd text him where she was heading if she left. After that and a quick, almost unnoticeable kiss on the cheek from him, he took off towards the school. Amethyst stood there stunned, before shaking her head and heading to one of the stores.
She was surprised to find Galarian items in one of the shops, finding one of her Brother's Jerseys. She felt nostalgic. She had one of these. She shook her head, grabbing one of the hoodies similar to her brothers and paid for it, the man immediately recognising her Jersey as one from the Gym Challenge. She froze not realizing she wore her brother's Jersey and quickly made up an excuse saying that a friend of hers from Galar gave it to her before getting the hell out of there.
She sighed, placing the hoodie in her bag and continuing on her way through the varying shops, occasionally getting challenged when people noticed her Key Stone and Pokeballs. Before she knew it she had gone through a lot of the shops, grabbing some Malasadas for lunch and stopping Team Skull from stealing a small kids pokemon, not caring about the battle since she knew they would be easy to take out and ate her Malasada, ignoring their shouts of anger as she walked away, shielding the kid and getting him back to his mother.
She shot Kiawe a text, letting him know she was going exploring on and around Route 2, and headed out, letting Lucario out, who walked next to her happily. He easily took out the few fools who attempted to battle them. She climbed through the grass, observing the pokemon that made themselves at home and played and rolled around. She took a few photos, noticing Kaiwe replied. The time read 12:47. He was probably on a lunch break. They chatted for a bit before Kiawe stopped replying. After a while he came back and began texting again, explaining that he had to put his phone up as class was beginning. She agreed, wishing him luck and told him she would be exploring, and to text her when he was ready to meet up. She eventually wandered back to Hau' Oli city, and climbed up the steep hills to Iki Town. She wanted to meet Kahuna Hala, as that is who Olivia directed her to. Olivia permitted her use of Z-Moves, but she needed a Z-Crystal first. She decided to start off with Kahuna Hala, and asked for a meeting with him. After talking a while Hala agreed to a grand Trial after she completed Ilima's trial. She said that she would do it the next day she visited, and the Kahuna smiled. "You remind me of my Grandson, Hau." "I do?" Hala nodded.
"He is currently champion, and is doing a mighty-fine job at his job while balancing pokemon school on top of it." Amethyst smiled. "That's great. I'm sure you are very proud." Hala nodded. "Even if he didn't succeed at becoming champion, I would still be proud of the man he became." Amethyst grew somber, wishing the same thing from her parents. "That is great, I'm sure he is very proud of himself, and he should be. Thank you for your time Kahuna Hala, but I must be on my way. I have much to explore." He chuckled softly. "Thank you for your meeting. All you need to do is show me the Z-Crystal you get from Ilima's Trial and that will be enough for me to allow a Grand Trial. " She gave a smile before dismissing herself, letting Kiawe know she was heading down Route 1. It was getting close to the time Kiawe would be getting out, and she was ready to explore.
