Author's note:  I really hope all of you like this book.  I finally finished editing it just before I started publishing it to Wattpad.  I think it's well-written, and I hope others do, too.    I felt it necessary to write a short explanation of my story.  I spend a lot of years writing it, and it's important that readers know the history.  This needs to get out.  Enjoy!

This book is a book of historical fiction, meaning it's a story based on actual events.  None of the characters in this book are real.  The characters I wrote my story around are entirely made up:  Vin Frost, Rowan Wolf, Mike Wolf, and all of their family and friends.   They are not meant in any way to resemble anyone in real life. There are many high-profile government officials mentioned in this book who are real; however, I have changed their names slightly, and none of the conversations in this book actually happened.  The story is based on conspiracy theories, of what I believe has happened, is happening now, and will happen in the future.  We have a shadow government that runs our country, and I'm trying to bring this to the public's knowledge, so more people will wake up and realize what's going on before it's too late; and hopefully, they'll do something about it.  The following is a brief summary of the terrorist event that occurred in New York City, U.S.A, on September 11, 2001:

In March of 1999, Texas governor G.W. Bush announced his intention to run for the White House on the Republican ticket, and began aggressively raising money for his campaign, amassing millions of dollars to run.  Al Gore was running for the Democrats.   In the spring of 2000, each was selected as their parties' candidate.  Bush selected Dick Cheney, president of Halliburton, as his running mate.   On Election Day of November 2000, it was a very, very close race between the two biggest candidates, closer than had ever been seen before.  The voting count came down to a few key counties in Florida that had had voting machine errors, and so had to be recounted by hand.  Jeb Bush was instrumental in making sure that the majority of the votes in these counties went to his brother.  The vote was still very close, so the Supreme Court took over the case and ultimately named G.W. Bush as the new President Elect.  He took office in January of 2001, taking an oath, as do all government employees, including the military, to protect the U.S. Constitution from all threats, both foreign and domestic.   The threat arrived sooner than he thought.
