First off, thanks once again to all my lovely readers who are understanding, kind, and caring. Thanks for being patient with me with my non-consistent update schedule. I do apologize that I haven't been following it. So, I decided to write two chapters this week. (Chapters 11 and 12.) I know this is ch.12 I will try and write a chapter a week but can't guarantee it so please don't leave.

This chapter will focus on Arthit's P.O.V. of when he first meets Kongpob and all the interactions he's had with him so far, which leads up to when Kong ends up in the infirmary.

P.S. This chapter is over 3k long. I wrote more than I have planned for any chapter. I hope you like it.

Ch.12 Impressions

Arthit's P.O.V.

When I first heard from Tak that our Engineering faculty and his Economics faculty will do a combined hazing, I thought 'Are you out of your fucking mind? Our hazing is harsher than yours and of course, it is going to make us look like the bad guys.' He told me that it was a decision that his Department Head made with ours. I rolled my eyes at the thought. I already have over 200 juniors that I have to take care of and now there will be 200+ more. I could feel a migraine coming on. I shook my head in disapproval, but I knew there was nothing I could do.

Tak informed my friends and me, that we would have our first combined meeting the following day. I felt annoyed and frustrated. This is going to be a hellish year. We must make sure we incorporate their hazing techniques along with ours. I closed my eyes and prayed that nothing serious would happen this year.

*Day of First Hazing meeting* 'First Impression'

I looked around at all the juniors and felt myself sulk as I could tell instantly that a lot of them wouldn't be able to handle our hazing. I looked at my friends and saw that they all shared my thoughts. I focused back on looking at the juniors when my eyes fell upon his. At first, I couldn't read his name tag due to the other juniors sitting too close to him. I shifted myself a little to the left ever so subtly and read his name tag.

'Kongpob'

I looked him straight in the eyes and for a split second there, I saw a range of emotions flashing by that I started to feel worried. I am not usually someone who gets worried easily especially with a stranger. I reserve all emotional outbursts for immediate family and close friends.

Time ticked by as all the juniors filed in and sat down. I was about to start talking when I noticed that they all were chatting. I signaled to my friends and Tak and his friends to give it a few minutes to see if the juniors would pick up that we hadn't spoken yet.

Five minutes turned into ten minutes, which then turned in fifteen minutes and I lost my cool. I started yelling at the juniors stating that they don't know how to show their seniors respect and how they were being rude. I heard a junior speak out and started to apologize but that only made me even angrier since he didn't ask to speak.

I took a deep breath and decided to speak in a more normal tone. I saw Kongpob flinch earlier when I was yelling. My first thought was to write it off as I simply startled him, but as the meeting went on and my voice went back to head hazer mode, I saw that he would flinch when my voice was very angry and calm down when I spoke normally. I decided to make a mental note of that not only because he was a junior, from the Economics faculty, but also because for some reason, it didn't sit well with me.

I then called upon him. He looked so scared that I for some reason wanted to tell him to ignore it and sit back down but my head hazer voice told me to keep going.
