Ch.34 The Amazing Surprises

*Time Skip One Month after the Trial*

Arthit's P.O.V.

A month has passed since the trial. Kongpob looks happier, and I can tell that he is finally free from the terrors that haunted him most of his life.

Right now, I am lying in bed beside him as he continues to sleep peacefully with his arms wrapped around me. And I can't help but chuckle as he snuggles closer to me while whining, indicating that I had moved and disturbed his favorite sleeping position.

I kiss Kong on his forehead before climbing out of bed and completing my morning routine. When I finish getting dressed, I feel a pair of arms hug me from behind.

"Morning, Babe."

"Morning, Arthit. Why didn't you wake me up?"-Kong

"You were just too cute. Anyways, I have a surprise for you later this evening, so please make sure you're free."

"Okay. I have a surprise for you as well tonight so keep the evening free."-Kong.

I kiss him on the lips goodbye as I head to campus first. Nong Can and Wayo will give Kong a ride to campus.

Thirty minutes later, I arrive on campus and head to my first class, really excited for tonight. I hope it goes well.

The day seemed to whiz by as I focused on making sure that my plans go well.

Lunchtime came, and I was excited to see Kong again. He walked over to me and sat down before giving me a sweet-tasting kiss.

"Cough.....Cough"-Can

I turned and looked at Can. I rolled my eyes at him and smirked, knowing that he couldn't make out with his boyfriend because Tin and P'Pha were still in class.

"Babe, can you give me a hint about the surprise you have for me tonight?" I begged.

"No can do. You won't tell me what your surprise is, right?"-Kong

I let out a sigh because I knew he was right. I decided to drop it and hug Kong until he asked me to get him some food.

We enjoyed the rest of lunch and said goodbye before heading to our respected classes. The rest of the afternoon flew by just as quickly as the morning had.

I asked Can and Wayo to bring Kong home as I went first and grabbed all the necessary items needed for my surprise. I quickly changed my apparel and drove about 20 miles to the beach. (I am making this up.)

I started to set everything up and was relieved when Tin, P'Pha showed up to help me.

I set up a long dark wood table and then placed a beautiful red table cloth on top. Tin then place a very delicate set of plates and silverware that I had just bought for this special occasion.

The time ticked by as we set the scene up, and I rehearsed what I would say and do.

*Time Skip to the Surprise*

I stood there waiting as I saw Can's car pull up, and I knew Kong was in there. A few minutes passed before Kong was blindfolded before being led to the walkway created with tealight candles.

I walked up to him in my suit before taking off his blindfold. Kong let out a gasp as he took in the scenery before him. Tin, P'Pha was standing off to the side on the right at the end of the walkway, Can and Wayo were on the opposite side, all dressed up.

"Arthit, what is this?"-Kong

"You'll have to follow me down this walkway if you want to know."

Kong became silent and hooked his left arm with my right one as we walked down the tealight walkway.

A piece of soft instrumental music played as we walked, and I could tell that Kong was nervous, but he wasn't the only one.

Once we got to the end, I turned Kong to face me, and I took a deep breath.

"Kong, I know our first impressions of each other didn't start great, and that's my fault. I was scared for the first time in my life when you passed out at the meeting. I raced the hounds of hell were on my heels as I brought you to the infirmary. I couldn't stop blaming myself for what happened to you. I know that you are a fantastic person, and having to deal with that wasn't fair. I fell for you when you stood up for yourself and showed that you could face your fears. I felt my heartbeat fast, and I couldn't help falling for you.

I am glad you gave me a chance, and we have been together with such beautiful memories and some not-so-great memories. You are the bravest person I've ever met, and I love how special you are. I love that you don't change who you are but stay true to yourself.

So here I am on one knee, hoping to ask you one question.

*Takes a deep breath*

Kongpob, will you marry me?"

*in a whisper* "Yes."-Kong

"What did you say?"

"YES!!!"-Kong

I place the ring on his finger before placing a gentle yet slightly rough kiss.

Cheers and whistles go off as we kiss.

We pull back and look into each other's eyes as we smile.

"Remember how I said I have a surprise for you as well?"-Kong

"Yes?"

"Arthit, I am ready to go further in our relationship."-Kong

"Are you sure? It would be best if you didn't feel like you have to or should rush yourself. I am happy to wait for when you are ready. I am not saying that I don't believe you or trying to make you seem like you don't know how to decide. I want you to be comfortable and ready."

"I know that you are willing to wait, but I have thought about this for a few months now, and I am ready to give you my virginity."-Kong.

"I promise that I will make your first time special and memorable."
