chapter 18-,
heejin's pov~
seoyeon was happy to hear those exact words. she couldn't stop smiling and held my hands tight. "there's one thing i ask." "what is it?" "i need you to look after him when im gone." i stuttered and shook my head. "seoyeon, don't say that, be positive." she shook her head back and mumbled. "i know it's gonna happen one day. please just look after him, i want you both to be happy. i don't want him to go through the pain he went through when he lost his dad and now his mom? i won't be there for him, so i need you to."
i slowly nodded and looked at her in sorrow. "ill try my best." she lightly smiled. "but heejin, one more thing. whatever you do, follow your dreams. do what you want and don't let anything stop you. i wished i followed those words.." before i could say or do anything hyunjin came walking in. "alright mom the pool is cleaned." she let go of my hands and put a smile on. "great, now you guys can go swimming tomorrow!" he smiled and walked over to the kitchen, getting the ingredients out to start making dinner.
i continued to sit there, staring at hyunjin. my own words kept running over and over in my head. 'i like hyunjin' over and over again. but i guess i can't deny my feelings anymore, hes showed me so much care and happiness, i really do have feelings for him.
i snapped out of my thoughts and decided to help by grabbing the luggages and seoyeon noticed. "oh the rooms are that way!" she pointed down the hallway and i went into the rooms and started unpacking the luggages, and like that, i had gotten the best advice ive gotten in years.
