she heard him calling for her, but for her own sake she continued to ignore him. she rolled the window up and a tear fell but she quickly wiped it away. "are you ready?" her dad looked at her and she nodded. he started the car, and before the car left, heejin took one last look at hyunjin, another tear running down her face. just like that, she was gone, out of hyunjin's life.
hyunjin sat there, devastated. he wanted nothing but for her to come back and he hoped it was just a dream and that none of this was real. he covered his face with his hands so his cried were muffled.
then he felt someone rubbing his back, he turned to look and saw seungmin with a concerned look. he quickly wiped his tears away and acted like he wasn't crying, but seungmin sighed. "i know how much it hurts, you don't have to pretend anymore." hyunjin just stared at him, his eyes still watery. the boy pulled him into a hug and hyunjin let all his tears out, saying sorry over and over again.
"im sorry too, you're right by the way, i shouldn't have been selfish. i should have been there to support you instead of making you feel like you did everything wrong." he felt his own eyes start to form tears and a few fell.
the boys stayed in each other's arms, both hurt, but both there for one another.
