chapter 9-,

heejin's pov~

it's been a full week since what had happened at the table. i think the two of them were embarrassed cause they hardly talked to me. i see both of them everyday but i know how hard embarrassment can hit. ive been trying to talk to hyunjin in class the best i could but he ignores me. nara is starting to loosen up and i respect that so ill give her space. but today i decided to talk to him, cause if im being honest, i missed what we had, even if it was something really small.

i headed to class and saw hyunjin already sitting in his seat. he saw me enter and i smiled and waved at him but he just looked away. i frowned and sat in my seat. the whole period was quiet between the two of us.

when class was over hyunjin quickly left but i hurried out and followed him. "hyunjin, wait!" i know he heard me, yet again he kept walking. i caught up to him and grabbed his arm which made him look at me. "are you okay? you haven't been talking to me.." he had a sorrow look in his eyes and he mumbled a "im fine."

i just stared at his features as he looked down, then i let go of his arm and slowly nodded. he turned and walked to his next class, i did as well.

my next classes i couldn't stop thinking about why he seemed like this. the last class i had was with felix. when it was over i ran up to him. "oh hey heejin! what's up?" he smiled and i returned it. "soooo, you know how nara and hyunjin talked that one day at lunch?" he nods. "since then hyunjin hasn't been talking to me and i tried to ask what's wrong but he said everything was fine...obviously he's not."

felix let out an 'ohhh'. "i wanna talk to him again but i really don't know where to find him at." felix thought for a moment. "how about you and i invite hyunjin to dinner, then ill leave saying i have to go study, and you can ask away?" i nodded quickly with a smile. "great, see you then." he got up and walked off. i also walked away, to my dorm to put my stuff down and try to look decent.

later that day the plan was in action, felix and i were already waiting for hyunjin to arrive. we waited, then waited, and waited, but he never showed up. felix was already falling asleep and when i realized he wasn't coming, i tapped on him and he woke up and looked around, seeing no hyunjin. he frowned a bit and patted my shoulder. "sorry it didn't work, maybe next time." i nodded and he got up and waved goodbye. i spent the rest of my time there by myself thinking of what it would take for hyunjin to get to talking to me again.

guyssss im so sorryyyy. it's felt like forever since i updated and my friend said it was writer's block and it probably is but jskakxnd idk at this point. anyways ill fite wb and give ya more chapters i pRoMisE
