chapter 29-
two months later
hyunjin waited in his seat, admiring the nice cafe scenery. he took a few sips of his iced coffee, specifically vanilla flavor. when the door to the cafe opened, hyunjin stood and went to go hug the person he had been waiting for.
"hyung, it's been a while, how are you?" the boys sat down and hyunjin pushed over the dark roasted coffee he had bought for him. woojin smiled. "ive been good. meeting up was a great idea." hyunjin nodded and agreed.
"how has school been?" hyunjin asked. woojin quickly responded. "i think i made a good choice leaving, theres so many good opportunities for me. how about you? how are the others? are you still with nara?" woojin took a sip of his coffee while hyunjin lightly smiled and played with his straw.
he shook his head. "im not with her anymore. i actually met someone new." he smiled, remembering all the memories he had made during that time with heejin. "oh that's good, can i meet her?" his head shot up and his smile kinda faded. "she randomly left, without saying anything." woojin sat confused.
"why did she leave?" as a response he shrugged. "i always wonder the same thing. maybe i didn't appreciate her enough or tell her how great she was." he took a moment to catch his breath and comprehend what he was trying to say and tell the person sitting in front of him. then, out of the slightest mumble, he said something. "i loved her and i still do, i can't forget about her. she was amazing but maybe i didn't know how to love her that good because i was only taught true love from my mom...my dad wasn't there to teach me a male's persecutive of love."
woojin stared at him, taking in everything he was saying. "i thought i tried my hardest but the more i think about it, maybe im just bad at this kind of stuff." he looked at the table and picked at it before woojin spoke and shook his head.
"you were given a chance to love and you took it. hyunjin, being in love doesn't mean trying, it's just something that genuinely happens. as much as you try, you can't control your feelings." hyunjin took a deep breath and thought about what woojin told him. it had been the greatest advice he had gotten in a while, actually the greatest advice since heejin.
