heejin's pov~
when the sun had finally come up, i woke up and checked my phone, seeing that i had a text from seungmin. he asked to meet up around dinner time and i replied saying yes. i had another message from my mom saying she's so happy for me. i was totally confused so i texted her asking what she meant. she told me to check my emails so i grabbed nara's laptop and checked. my eyes widened at what i saw.
the most recent email i had gotten was from my dream school. the college i had tried so hard to get accepted into, but they rejected me so i came here instead. i clicked on it and confusion was all i felt. i read the email very carefully and i couldn't believe it.
Ms Lee Heejin,
we are so sorry to keep you waiting this long. it seems that there was a mistake that took place. our files got mixed up and some even lost. when we found them again, we relooked at them. Ms Lee, we do hope you forgive us and our mistake. we had gotten your application, we are dearly sorry for not sending back an acceptance letter. we hope to see you at our campus soon, thank you.
what the fuck?! everything was a misunderstanding? so i did actually end up getting accepted to that school. everything hit so suddenly, i closed nara's laptop and texted my mom back immediately.
after a bit of cheering, i then remembered something. what about hyunjin? how would he react to this? those thoughts never really left my head. i got ready and headed out to my class. it was almost a normal day, except my mind couldn't calm down one bit.
