chapter 21-,

heejin's pov~

my classes had ended and i went back to my room to get ready to talk to seungmin. i texted him asking where to meet up and he said the library, so that's exactly where i went.

when i walked in i saw him sitting at the tables reading a book, so to fit in i grabbed a random one and sat in front of him. he looked up and smiled lightly at me.

"can we talk?" i nodded and he closed the book. "well, i know we don't really know each other good but i feel like i can trust you." i nodded and he sighed. "i don't know if you know but hyunjin and i got into a fight."

"that's why you guys haven't been as close?" he looked at me and nodded. "what was the fight about?" he stayed quiet a while before saying that it was about me. i asked if it was because i spent the night and he nodded, i apologized but again said nothing. "it's not only that tho, i know you walked in and heard what felix said."

"i did, but i don't know who you were talking about. like you said, we don't know each other a lot and i only know you're close to hyun..." i looked at seungmin, who was looking at the table, looking really gloomy. "seungmin...do you like hyunjin?" i stayed waiting for his response but nothing came. "seungmin?" he looked up at me and his eyes became glossy. "i do, heejin."

a single tear fell from his eyes, i know both of us were hurting. i hesitated but grabbed his hand and held it. "im moving schools." he looked at me, his eyes a bit red but round from being shocked. "please don't tell hyunjin, i don't want him to worry." he couldn't say anything and i soon felt my eyes start to water too.

i quickly let go and wiped my tears away and stood up. "i think you should go tell him your feelings." he shook his head and i couldn't be calm anymore so i ran out and went back to my room. as soon as i got there, i locked myself in the bathroom and cried.
