|Madelyn|
Today is finally Friday and here I am sitting in my last class of the day before it is the wonderful weekend. Sadly, the fancy dinner is tonight and I am not ready to be set up with another guy who is going to be very successful in the future. Every time my "loving" parents set up with some guy who is going to be rich and the perfect husband mineral for me, it never works out.
I look up at the clock only to see that we have three minutes left. I groan softly not trying to get anyone's attention. My eyes drift off to the couple in front of the classroom who seem to be arguing about something Allison is doing all of the talking before his eyes wander around the room as Allison is still arguing with him and then they stopped on me. I was shocked with my eyes wide as we continued to look at each other, he went to smile but Allison caught him staring at me and had a deathly expression on her face and started snapping for fingers in front of his face to get his attention.
The bell rings out into the air, I scramble to get up from my seat grabbing all of my books and notes from my desk wondering what they could have been arguing about. Before getting pulled out the door by a hand.
"Autumn hello to you too," I say laughing as we walk to our cars.
At our sleepover, Autumn suggested that we park next to each other so we did.
"So how was the last hour," she asks me hitting her elbow into my side.
Hinting at the fact that Cole is in my last hour.
"It was okay," I say looking at the ground.
"Tell me what happens," she asks.
After the sleepover, Autumn told me she shipped Cole and me and she says it all the time now it's so funny and annoying at the same time but I still love her.
I groan, "We just made eye contact and he went to smile at me out of politeness but then Allison noticed got more upset because they were arguing in class and started snapping her fingers in his face to get his attention back on her,"
"God I hate her," Autumn states.
"Well don't she didn't do anything wrong,"
We finally reach our cars and part ways but before I get in my car I hear Autumn yell something.
"Good luck tonight hope he's rich,"
I laugh at her statement I need all the luck in the world at this point.
"Thanks," I yell back finally getting in my car and leaving the school grounds.
I finally arrived home only to meet my mother at the door waiting for me.
"Madelyn I need you to go upstairs to get ready, Rose will help with your hair and makeup, you may go now," she says to me tapping her long fingers on the door frame before noticing her nails were newly done which meant she was stressed and angry. Great.
"Yes, ma'am," I say walking through the door before she grabs my arm angrily and whispers what seems like venom into my ear.
"Madelyn call me mom tonight and use your sweet fake loving daughter voice thank you,"
I shiver with disgust before nodding and running up the stairs to meet Rose in my room.
I run to her and engulf her in a sweet loving hug.
"Hi Lyn," she whispers.
"Hello, Rose,"
"I'm sorry," she says.
"It's okay," I say trying to keep it together.
"Let's get you ready," she says pulling away smiling shyly.
"Okay," I answer her sitting down in front of a big mirror.
"So Lyn how was school today," she asks me brushing my hair out and getting the curling iron ready.
"It was good Cole and I made eye contact in class today, but it didn't last," I explain to her.
"That's okay it will happen someday, I still ship you two," she says as she starts to curl my hair.
"Yeah maybe someday," I answer softly.

Rose finally finishes doing my hair and makeup and tells me to put on my dress. I walk to my walk-in closet where my dress is held. I grab the dress off of the mannequin my mom put it there so it will not wrinkle. I slipped the violet color dress onto to body and called for Rose to tie the back of the dress.
"Rose may you help me," I yell to her.
"Coming," She comes into the closet and ties my dress up.
"You look beautiful Lyn, just like a princess," she says smiling.
"Thank you, Rose," I thank her for the compliment.
"MADELYN ITS TIME," my mother yells from downstairs.
"I have to go," I whisper to Rose.
"Have fun and be yourself," she says. I look at her with a frown on my face.
She laughs at me, "Go," she says.
I leave the room and walk down the long spiral stairs to meet my parents greeting our guest at the door. Of course, they wanted me to walk down the stairs at the right moment for a grand entrance.
"Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Manor to our lovely home," my mother and father say to our guest at the doorway.
"Oh and here comes our beautiful daughter," they say as I meet the end of the stairs.
"Hello I am Madelyn," I greet them putting out my hand for them to shake.
"Hello I'm Jason and this is my wife Emily," says a man with dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes that reminded me of the ocean.
"Hello I'm Emily and I love your dress," says a woman who has light brown hair and green eyes that reminded me of the forest.
"Thank you, Emily," I thank her.
"Oh Jason don't forget our son I'm sorry about my husband," she apologizes laughing softly.
Here comes the son my parents are trying to set me up with who will be a lightweight like all the others before him. I sigh.
"It's alright," my mother tells her.
"Madelyn this is our son," Jason says before moving out of the way of where his son is standing.
"Hello I am Madelyn," I say putting out my hand for him.
That's when I see him the last person I would have thought to be standing in the doorway of my house.
"Hello I'm Cole," he says shaking my hand before finally meeting my eyes that are shocked to see him.
"Cole,"
"Hi, Madelyn," he says smirking at me
Oh, this can't be happening.
"I will wait for you because honestly, I don't want anyone else,"
