Ink's POV

It was already day two of being in Nightmare's Gang and, well, talking to Error yesterday didn't go well. He ignored me until I got bored and left, but he didn't seem to get angry at me or anything. Was he expecting me to try to talk to him? Maybe, knowing Nightmare he'd probably told Error the first time he offered for me to join his Gang.

"Ink, come to my office, it's important."

Nightmare? But.. what? Did they have a speaker system or an announcement system or.. well, you know what I mean. Why did he even need me to go to his office, did he have another mission for me? I doubt it, he could just ask one of the other Gang members to do it so.. he needed something specific from me? Should I take Broomie just in case? What if he's planning to hurt me now that Dream might be suspicious of my actions?

"Now."

Nightmare's voice over the speaker snapped me out of my thoughts. I guess I had to go to his office no matter what, before he got angry at me. Forgetting Broomie, I wandered down a lot of hallways until I finally found his office. Geez, couldn't he have given me a map of this place beforehand? Knocking on the door of his office, nothing came from inside it. Was he in there? Was I at the wrong office? Did he have another office? That isn't too far fetched knowing him.

"Come in.."

Nightmare's quiet voice came from the office and, if I'm being honest, hearing him calm and quiet was a lot scarier than hearing him loud and angry. I opened the door and stepped into his office, closing the door behind me. Nightmare was sat at his desk, paperwork all around him. His head was on the desk, hands pressed slightly into his neck and- wait, why does it look like he's trying to choke himself?!

"Uh.. Nightmare..?"

Nightmare looked up towards me and, once he noticed me, he sat up and took his hands off his neck.

"Sorry, I'm.. a bit stressed and tired thanks to all this work but.. I wanted to ask you some questions, if you don't mind."

If I don't mind? Was he giving me a choice? God.. if he could give me options like this all the time that'd be nice.

"Sure, I don't mind."

Nightmare gestured towards the chair on the opposite side of his desk, was he motioning for me to sit in it? I walked over and sat on the chair, wondering what type of questions he'd ask me. It'd be something related to Dream, obviously, but why now if he's already stressed out?

"Question one, was Blue always cheerful?"

What type of question was that? Was he trying to get info about our personal lives?

"I mean.. depends on the situation you're talking about."

"In the situation where we weren't fighting each other."

He was definitely trying to get info about our personal lives.

"Well, Blue was mainly energetic but there were times he'd sort of.. power down for a bit and we wouldn't see him come out of his room for days."

"What happened when he came out of his room? Did he just go back to normal with his energetic nature or was he passive aggressive?"

"When he came out of his room he was back to his energetic self."

Nightmare wrote down something on a piece of paper in front of him, then he looked back up at me.

"Hmm.. question two, has Dream ever shit-talked me?"
