Additional Battle

A/N: so.. of course, after sweetheart is done and finished I want to continue writing stuff, but I'm not sure how I want to continue, so I'll let you guys decide on it. There's three options, all you need to do is comment which one and majority vote wins.

1. A sequel to Sweetheart (this'll be happening eventually anyway because well, yeah)

2. A (toxic!) dreammare story

3. Both at the same time (one chapter from each being put out a day!)

Ink's POV
After Dust, Cross and I woke up, not much was said or done. We all kinda just.. avoided the subject of Nightmare and him potentially hurting me somehow, so to try and clear my mind I had decided to go on a small walk through a pacifist UnderFell timeline, which resulted in.. well..

Let's just say Nightmare would be very upset if he found out that it resulted in me and Dream fighting.. again. I had come across him talking to an inhabitant about something and, once he saw me he seemed to forget about how we were enemies since he waved at me.

I had summoned my paintbrush out of confusion and well, he remembered all of a sudden that we were now enemies and began fighting me. The entire situation had confused me, but there wasn't much I could really do about it other than fight him; so that's exactly what I did.

Neither of us had landed a single hit on each other, so it was kind of a boring fight so far, but I was glad nothing had happened that could make Nightmare punish me for my actions.

"Ink!"

Great, now he was trying to talk to me.

"We have nothing to talk about, Dream! Just focus on fighting!"

I sent an attack his way which he swiftly dodged, again. This was so annoying, why couldn't he just be easy to hit?! Why was he actually trying to fight against me?!

"Why're you fighting me?!"

I was shocked by what he asked, he was the one who initiated our first fight and called me a traitor, wasn't he? Why was he asking why I was fighting him?!

"You initiated our very first fight, Dream! Why are you asking me why I began fighting you?!"

"What?! I never initiated it! You did by completely turning traitor and telling Nightmare all our secrets!"

Telling Nightmare all our secrets..?

"You're delusional! I've never told him a thing that could put you or Blue in danger!"

"Then why have I been seeing him around more than usual, huh?! Why is it now all of a sudden he's been appearing more and more wherever I go?!"

"I don't know! I don't control what he does!"

The fact that Nightmare had been following Dream more than usual.. why was he doing that? Was there actually a specific reason to it or was he just accidentally ending up in the same AUs as Dream? I'd have to ask him later.

"You're lying! By now I bet you're in complete charge of his Gang and ordering them around, you've always been bossy after all!"

I was shocked at his words, but I can't say I didn't expect them. He thinks I'm stronger than Nightmare, after all, so it'd be predictable for him to assume I'd already taken charge of the Gang, but to call me bossy when he controlled almost everything Blue and I did..? That hurt, it hurt a lot. I fired off another attack at Dream, this time it was a purple attack, one designed to knock the wind out of him.
