Ink's POV

Undernovela, that was what I was currently trying to watch with Error.. and failing horribly at since I didn't know Spanish. Error seemed to be getting irritated at my constant questions of what was going on, but it wasn't my fault! He had explained nothing to me before putting it on, I had never even heard of it before this; well, besides from the few times Error had mentioned it.

"Error? Are there subtitles available?"

"No, there are no subtitles Ink."

"Okay."

A few more minutes of silence as I tried, and failed, to figure out what was happening.

"..How do you know Spanish?"

"I don't."

A few more minutes of silence as I tried to comprehend why he was watching a show he couldn't even understand.

"..Why do you watch it if you can't understand it?"

"You can figure out what's happening just by watching, you don't need translations to understand it. Shut up and watch."

A few more minutes of silence as I watched and, once again, tried to understand what was happening in the show. I barely knew the characters names, let alone the plot of the show. I thought of leaving a while ago but Error probably would've dragged me back and forced me to watch it with him whether I wanted to or not, so I decided the safer option was to stay put and wait for Error to be done watching it. But.. that was two hours ago and we were still here, so what was I meant to do?

Error glanced over at me from time to time, probably to make sure I was still watching, but we didn't speak other than when I asked him a question about the show. Actually, the whole situation was confusing, not just the show. I had woken up, still next to Cross, but then Error grabbed me with his strings and pulled me into another room to watch Undernovela with him, why had he done that? There had been no explanation from him, he had just thrown me onto a sofa and opened a one-way portal to Undernovela. Did he enjoy watching any other AUs? Maybe he did and I just never noticed, I mean.. they were one-way portals so of course I wouldn't have been able to see if he had been watching them but.. he never mentioned any other AUs than Outertale and Undernovela so maybe they were the only two he liked?

Finally, Error closed the portal and I turned to him, only to be met with a sad expression. Had I done something wrong?

"You didn't seem to enjoy it."

"Well.. I couldn't understand what was going on. Besides, you clearly expected me to have some type of knowledge about who the characters were and.. I didn't know anything."

"But.. but you're supposed to know everything about AUs!"

"Were you under the impression that I knew everyone in every single AU?"

"I was under the impression that you knew of them, but didn't talk to every single one of them."

"Error.. no.. that's not how my job works.. the AUs can be made without my help, there's thousands upon thousands of AUs I haven't entered and know nothing about! Did you really think I'd know about every single person who has ever existed?"

"Yes!"

"Geez, you still got a lot to learn about me."

"Oh? Well I-"

"What's up fuckers?"

Of course Nightmare had to walk in at that exact moment, of course he did. Error and I turned to face him, and I noticed he had a smug grin on his face.
