And so the bad shit begins..

Ink's POV

Nightmare's office, again. I had changed into a simple pink jumper and some jeans, and I had thrown my clothes into the laundry room because the maids apparently clean and dry the clothes, according to Error anyway. God, this was annoying to say the least.

"..You're wearing the clothes from the bathroom? Did something happen?"

"Yeah, Error was gonna teach me how to disassemble AUs and he made me fall into a freezing cold pit of water so now I'm wearing these."

"You still have your vials with you?"

"Even if they're wet I'd never leave them with you or any other Gang member."

"That's understandable. However you haven't refilled them in quite a while, is there a reason for that?"

"Just haven't needed to refill them, is there a reason you wanted me here?"

"Yes, there is. I wanted to ask about how Dream and Blue treated you in your time with them. You know, if they did anything that you view as bad, if they did anything you view as weird or.. out of character. That type of stuff."

"I mean, they never really.. changed much. Blue would occasionally act a bit off but other than that I don't know. Dream and I weren't as close as you probably think we were, we.. I wouldn't say we rarely saw each other but we didn't see each other much outside of work for well, unknown reasons."

"You know, you're pretty dumb to be calling it 'unknown reasons.' It's one of three options; he didn't like you, he thought he saw you too much during work or he just never hangs out with anyone. I'm willing to bet it's the first option because of, well, obvious reasons."

"..Care to explain what these obvious reasons are?"

"Yeah, sure. You, Dream and Blue all worked together, correct? You three were with each other at almost every fight and were probably together all day during work. I've seen Dream hang out with Blue on their 'days off' or whatever they like to call them, but I've never seen Dream or Blue hang out with you. So, if Dream hangs out with Blue, a person he sees daily because of work then that's two options immediately crossed off the list leaving only the first option."

"..In simple terms?"

"In simple terms he's hanging out with his teammate Blue off work which gets rid of the second and third options leaving only the option that he just never liked you."

"Th.. that can't be true, I'm sure there's another reason.."

"Can you come up with any? I can't."

"M-maybe I just wasn't as fun to hang out with as Blue, that's all! He didn't dislike me he just liked Blue's company more than mine!"

"You're really sinking low to use that type of reasoning. He never invited you anywhere with him."

"N-no, he did! About a day or two before I caused the AUs to collapse, he asked me to meet up with him, we were supposed to talk with each other!"

"To.. talk with each other?"

"Yeah, I dunno what about but he wanted to talk with me! So.. ha! You're wrong!"

"That doesn't sound like he wanted to hang out, it sounded like he needed to talk to you about something."

"Same thing!"

"It's not, anyway I need to finish some paperwork now. Please take some time to reflect on what I've told you and.. rethink your opinion of Dream. Stop making excuses for him, Ink."
