Kimayah Carter 💋
"You didn't tell me you had company" my mum said as she kissed her teethWell this was very awkward. I just awkwardly smiled and stood by the door giving her the 'I'll explain' LOOK. She wasn't one to be mad at me, she's rarely ever mad at me but I could understand why she'd be mad right now.
She just looked at me and held the door. I still stood there awkwardly as I wasn't sure whether or not I would be allowed to bring ayesha in.
"Babe are we just gonna stand here? These bags are heavy as fuck" ayesha loudly whispered
I mentally face palmed myself. I have a feeling that my mum won't like ayesha already. If ayesha didn't just swear in front of my mum then it would've been slightly better.
My mums not one of them old fashioned parents who complain about everything.. but it's the first time you meeting my mum and staying in my house and you're getting this comfortable? I couldn't help but start laughing and shaking my head. It's more so the principle of the matter but let me not even get into her.
I lead the way up to my room before I decided to greet and introduce ayesha to my family.
"So where am I sleeping?" ayesha questioned
"You can stay in the spare room literally next door to mine. I'll set it up for you and then you can go there" I said whilst unpacking some of my stuff
Ayesha continued to roam around my room and touching so many different items. Not being funny or anything but I hate when people do that. It's not even a personal problem with her, it's just in general.
"Ouuuu what are these?" She said whilst holding up one of my trophies
I inwardly rolled my eyes.. does she HAVE to touch?
"It's a trophy. I won an athletics competition a while back" shrugged whilst continuing to unpack most of my things
"You don't look like the sporty type babe" she laughed
I just ignored her and went to show her to her room. It was just a simple guest bedroom. We usually use it around Christmas time. We host Christmas in our house because it's more convenient for everyone to get to and because it's quite spacious. I haven't even discussed Christmas with my family yet, I don't know who's going to be coming and what exactly we're doing. I really should've asked my mum who's she inviting over.. because I'm telling you my older cousins will finish her and I'm not here for it.
"Your house is really nice kimayah. I didn't know that you could get houses like these from the council. Must be niceeee" ayesha said
Is this girl okay? I think she's not mentally correct. But I'd be a hypocrite to say that but still..
"Actually my parents BOUGHT this house. Thanks though" I smiled
My parents bought this house about 4 years ago. It's a nice Modern house on the outskirts of Peckham rye/Dulwich. Houses in my area are so nice, I always wanted to live in a house like this and my parents tried their best to make it a reality. Blood, sweat, tears and commitment bought us this house and I'm so grateful to have hardworking parents! It makes me deep how lucky I am.. I couldn't of asked for anything more than what I have
Thinking of parents.. I planned on going to tell my mum the situation now as ayesha had fallen asleep when I showed her to the guest room. I don't blame her. We had a long ass journey and I wish I could sleep too.
I snuck up on my mum who was in the kitchen. The house was quiet so I assumed that tamiyah and my dad were out somewhere. I don't think tion is coming for another few days but I miss him and my nephew..
