— ALICE'S POV —

This girl seems nice, and seems to care about Betty. I'm worried about what Hal will do to Betty, and he'll hurt me if I try to stop him. But, this girl seems tough, so she might be able to help.

— TONI'S POV —

Suddenly, after about 10 seconds, the door opens. I open my mouth to talk, but Mrs. Cooper puts her finger to my mouth.

A: *whispers* She's upstairs. I'm worried, but I can't do anything. You seem tough. Go quick, don't be seen by Hal. Do you have a bobby pin?

T: *whispers* Thank you, and yes I do.

She walks out of my way so that I can walk inside. That was weird, but at least I got in. I sprint upstairs to her bedroom, thank god I know where it is, I could've risked being seen. I twist the knob, but it's locked. I go to grab a bobby pin from my hair, but I feel someone behind me. He takes my bobby pin, opens the door, and shoves me in, closing and locking it behind me.

T: Betty?!

She's not here. Oh no, the bathroom. I run into it seeing the floor covered in blood. Wait, she's not here.

T: Betty?!!!

B: *weakly* Toni....

I turn around and see her behind the door. I walk all the way in and close the door.

T: What... the fuck... happened.

B: Uhh....

T: Did you do this?

B: *shakes her head*

T: *mumbles* I'm going to kill him.

B: *weakly* No! Please.

T: Why? It was your dad, wasn't it?

B: *weakly* I... can't... I can't say... but please... help...

I realize that I can't be thinking about this. Betty's bleeding out.

T: Okay. Okay. Do you have gloves in here?

B: *shakes her head*

T: Okay.

T: First Aid?

B: *weakly* C-cabinet.

I jump up quickly grab the first aid kit from the cabinet and pop it open, everything flying out all over. Thankfully, I was able to catch the pressure pad, so it didn't get covered in blood. I quickly put everything back into the kit, lifted Betty's shirt up and applied pressure. She was stabbed in the chest, by her dad I think. If I hadn't come... let's just say that we wouldn't have seen her at school tomorrow. After a minute or so, Betty went unconscious. Thank god for that first aid class I took, I would've been freaking out. But, they taught us that it's normal for them to lose consciousness after the loss of blood. I lift up the pad and realize that it stopped bleeding. Thank god. I wash the wound and grab the things for stitches from the first aid kit. Jeez, this kit is amazing. It's got everything.

Since Betty is still unconscious, I do the stitches. It won't hurt her as much as if she was conscious. It'll hurt afterwards, but it'll be better than the pain it would be while I do the stitches. I finish the stitches and place a bandage on top of it, so nothing gets in it to make it become infected. I walk over to the tub/shower, open the curtain, and turn it on. Once the tub is about halfway filled, I grabbed Betty and lifted her into it. I then washed most of the blood off of her, not getting the bandage off, thank god it's waterproof. I turn off the water and clean up the bathroom with bleach. When I've got most of it clean, I grab Betty and place her on her bed.
I grab her a new outfit, since the one that she was wearing is covered in blood. I then change her into it.

- 15 minutes later -
After a while, I see Betty's eyes flutter open.

T: Betty...

B: Toni, what...?

She tries to sit up, I see that she felt the pain in her chest, and I gently push her back down.

B: Oww...

T: Sorry, I had to give you stitches, the wound was too big for it to just heal on its own.

B: No, it's fine. Thank you.

T: Of course.

B: So, what happened? I barely remember anything.

T: Well...
