3rd Person POV

"Mommy! Look what I found!" A little girl, wearing a cream dress with a white ribbon decorating its back, ran to a woman with white hair and (e/c) eyes who was tending to the kitchen. She turned to her daughter and smiled. She crouched down to her level when she showed her a little bird resting on her hand.

"That's a cute one cherry, now why won't you return it to where you found it? I'm sure its parents are looking for it." She calmly told her daughter.

"Sure mommy! I bet she'll be sad when she wakes up not seeing her mommy and daddy right?" The little girl excitedly agreed. She rushed back outside through the back door to return the little fella.

"I'm home!" A deep voice shouted from the front door. The woman wiped her hands and headed to the person owning the voice.

"Welcome home, my love. How was it?" She took him in her arms as he tiredly hugged back and set his chin on top of her right shoulder.

"They still don't agree with me." Sadness evident to his voice.

"Hmm, maybe we should try another time, right?" The white haired woman pulled back from the hug and cupped her beloved's cheeks, caressing it softly. His eyes softened at the sight of her and leaned more to her touch.

"You came home just in time for afternoon snacks, why don't we enjoy it so you can have a good rest afterwards?" She gave out a comforting smile.

"Yeah, let's go and eat my wife's heavenly cooking." They chuckled and headed for the kitchen just in time for the little girl to get back. Her eyes shimmered with joy and her body shook in excitement when she saw the man entering the area.

"DADDYYYYYY!!!" She yelled and ran full speed at the (h/c) haired man with gold eyes. He crouched down to catch her and swung her up in the air, craddling her in his arms after.

"How's my little cherry doing?" The father and daughter shared a warm hug.

"Daddy, you won't believe it but I just rescued a baby birddd!! Mommy is a witness so it is super duper true!!!" The little girl shared.

"Oh really? Very good my little cherry!" They laughed together as the white haired woman stared at both of them with loving eyes and a smile plastered on her face.

"Ooo! And then-!... And then I-..." The confused man tilted his head to her daughter when she stopped speaking.

"And then what?" He asked her to continue.

"...I'm hungry..." A growl came afterwards. The couple look at each other for a while but ended up chuckling after because of their daughter's funny statement.

"Let's go eat then, shall we?" The white haired woman asked.

"Yes, let's go eat." He set down the little girl who was holding her stomach the entire time and a pout gracing her features.

"Hurry up now cherry. We don't want a monster growling every second, do we?" His father joked around the little one.

"D-daddy!! T-there's no monster!! I-it's just my stomach yearning for mommy's delicious cooking!" She ranted.

"Alright, alright, you two should be quiet or you'll anger the monster more." Her mother fueled.

"M-mo-mommyy!!!" She shouted in embarrassment.

"Okay, okay, can we just eat now? I'm famished." The man patted his stomach while laughing.

"I'll get first so I can compare the sizes of the snacks!" The little girl exclaimed and bolted for the snacks laid out on the table.

"Oh no you don't little cherry! I'll beat you to it!" The father declared a challenge.

"Seriously, am I really just taking care of one kid? I think it's two..." The woman sweatdropped at the duo and headed for the table as well.

"Mommy, I'm not a kid anymore." The girl complained while her mouth is full.

"Now, now, young lady, you shouldn't speak when your mouth is full." Her mother warned while taking a bite at her sandwich.

"Even though you are far off much better and matured than other kids, you're still a kid cherry." His father commented.

"B-but! I know how to speak properly a-and I can walk and run completely on my own without tripping and I can do house chores on my own and-..." Her reasons just kept on going and going as her parents just chuckled in amusement.

"You really are one of a kind kiddo. My little cherry sure is grown up mentally but still is the little kid we always love." The man hugged her daughter and squished their cheeks together. The woman joined the hugged on the other side of the little girl.

"You're still our lovely little cherry." They both said. The little girl only sighed and chuckled at her parents' parental antics.

"Alrighty! I wanna eat my snack now without being squished so please get off me, mommy, daddy!" She laughingly said. They removed from their embrace and went back eating happily.

"Oh yeah, school's about to start, how about we practice your little introduction?" The father exclaimed happily but there was a hint of sadness in it. His wife effortlessly noticed this so she grabbed his hand to ease him up.

"hmm, I think I can manage it daddy." After hearing that, her father sulked in the corner of the room wiping non-existing tears on the corner of his eye with a handkerchief while mumbling something along the lines of 'My little girl has really grown up now. I'm happy yet sad at the same time because she can leave me any time.'

"Honey, she's just 3 and a half, why and how do you expect her to leave us at that age?" His wife sweatdropped while reasoning out.

"Yeah, yeah, you're right. I'm just overreacting that's all." He went back to his seat and replaced his gloomy aura with a happy one.

"So cherry. Let's start with your name." Her father showed a closed eye smile while imitating a teacher's posture and pushed up imaginary glasses on the bridge of his nose. The little girl played along, also excited to start school, so she replied back.

"My name is (y/n) (m/n) (l/n)"
