"Y/n, you sure you'll be alright?" The silver haired boy asked, his eyes fixated on the road ahead of him as his slender fingers were wrapped around the steering wheel.

"Jimin, trust me, it was FIVE years ago. I'm pretty sure it isn't all that hard to get over some trivial high school relationship." you said, touching up your make up as you held a small mirror.
"Yeah, but...you know, she's going to be there too..." Jimin said. You blankly stared at the reflection of your lips, as you took a few seconds to answer that.

"That's....that's okay, I guess....I mean, I don't see why Seokjin would invite her, to OUR high school reunion, when she wasn't even in our high school, but okay." you said, rolling your eyes as you popped your little mirror and makeup inside your shimmering clutch.

"I mean...she's the fiancé of someone who used to attend our school, at least." Jimin said, slowly turning towards you and quickly shifting his eyes back on the road. You simply rolled your eyes again, as you sighed and mumbled a quiet "Whatever." as you proceeded to look lifelessly outside the window.

Kim Seokjin, one of the most popular kids way back in high school who also happened to be one of your closest friends back then, now had a huge restaurant under his name and came up with the lovely idea of hosting a stupid "high school reunion".

Not that you didn't miss any of your friends, but the thought of meeting everyone after nearly five years was just a little nerve- wracking. Having to see all of them change, irrespective of their looks or attitude was queer for you.

After all, you, yourself had changed a whole lot. You didn't bother to keep in touch with anyone in specific, except a few, and one of them was Jimin. Your best friend since the freshman year of high school who also happened to be your roommate now.

Jimin had been you since the beginning and nobody knew you as much as he did. He was with you through thick and thin. He had seen you in your best and worst state of life.
He was with you when you cried the whole night after your parents got a divorce in sophomore year, he helped you study throughout Junior and Senior year, he was with you when you witnessed your first ever heart break after a few months of graduation, he was with you just two years ago when you sat in front of your mom's grave, crying in his arms.

"Ready to go?" Jimin asked, parking the car as he looked at you. You smiled, softly nodding. Both of you got out, walking side by side, and entered the restaurant. "Are you here for Mr. Kim's high school reunion?" a lady asked as soon as you guys entered.

Both of you nodded as she lead you guys to the highest floor of the building. "This way." she said, walking ahead of you guys as she guided you to the pub on the rooftop. Both of you thanked her, later entering the pub, already filled with so many people. Loud music blasting through the speakers as people danced like how they did way back in those high school parties.

"Wow, I can't believe almost everyone's here." You heard Jimin say. You looked around, still trying to set yourself into the current mood and atmosphere. "Oh my god, Y/n, is that you??! And Jimin! It's been so long!" both of you heard someone say as a figure approached you guys from the front.

"Look who's here... When did you come back from your planet, Alien!" you said, chuckling as you proceeded to hug Taehyung, one of your good old mates. Taehyung chortled as he hugged you tight and proceeded to hug Jimin who greeted him just as cheerfully.

Soon enough, you met almost half of your school, hugging them, asking them how their life was and all of that. Everyone looked really happy with how their life was going on, or at least that's what they made it look like.

"Wow, looks like we finally got to meet the host of this party! What a busy man." Jimin said as both of you walked towards Seokjin, the owner of the restaurant. You hugged him, a huge smile plastered on your face as you scanned his face while you pulled out.
