"So wait, what you're telling me is... You knew everything...all along?" Jungkook asked, dumbfounded. Jimin nodded, raising his eyebrows. "Don't you remember... When you met Y/n at the park and she asked you why you hadn't come the previous day, you said that you weren't at home but she told you that I told her you weren't well. I made that up cause I didn't know what to tell her." Jimin said, looking at Jungkook."But Jimin, when you...when you knew what I was going through, why did you hate me? Why did you act like I actually fell in love with someone else when in reality I was just being forced to marry somebody else." Jungkook asked, narrowing his eyes.
"Jungkook, you know why I was mad? It was because I had faith in you. I expected you to rebel back and fight against your dad just so you could be with Y/n. Ever since I heard what you said to Y/n in the park, you were nothing but a coward in my eyes." Jimin answered."But Jimin...I really didn't have a choice. My dad literally thought I was good for nothing...and I just wanted to prove myself to him." Jungkook said, his voice a lot more softer. "So does marrying someone you barely know prove anything about yourself?" Jimin questioned.
"No...it...it isn't like that..." Jungkook's voice was growing dimmer and dimmer. "Then what's it like, Jungkook? If you loved Y/n, why did you melt down so easily by your father's words." Jimin asked."I had no choice, I just knew I had to listen to him." Jungkook said. "Not once did you mention about Y/n to your dad. I mean, he had to know that you already had someone else that you loved." Jimin said.
"Jimin, do you really think my dad is like the other dads out there? If he knew I had a girlfriend, he would do anything and everything to remove her from my life and by that I mean, he could even just erase her out of this world." Jungkook said, his eyes fuming.
Jimin didn't know what to say to that. "Now tell me, would you rather have Y/n disappear completely or just me disappear from her life and protect her at the same time?" Jungkook questioned.
"But Jungkook, you sure are protecting her, but what about the way she's hurting? She doesn't have to tell me, but I can already see and sense the pain she's going through. She thinks you're in love with Irene." Jimin said. "Yeah I know, I'm thankful she believed that, it made my work a lot more easier even though it was very, very hard for me." Jungkook said.
"But Jeon, do you still want to continue hurting her like that?" Jimin asked. Jungkook pursed his lips, not knowing what to do. He obviously didn't want to hurt you. After all, he still loved you.
"Jungkook, you were young back then, and I seem to understand how hard it must've been for you...but now...now you're mature and you're powerful too...why don't you...why don't you try getting back everything to place?" Jimin softly said as he held Jungkook's shoulder."Yeah....I think it's time for that...But what do I do? What do I tell Y/n and mainly what do I tell my father and Irene?" Jungkook asked. "We'll think about it....for now you should head back home, it's really late." Jimin said, patting his shoulder.
Jungkook smiled as he nodded and turned around to open the door. Jimin walked past the car, opening the gate that lead to the building he lived in."Jimin....wait!" Jungkook called out, his door open as he still stood outside. Jimin turned around, looking at Jungkook. "Jimin...does this mean... does this mean....we're cool?" He asked. Jimin looked at him, a little confused as a smirk appeared on his face.
"You know....me and you...are we cool?" Jungkook asked again. "I thought I made that clear when I patted your shoulder. I wouldn't have done that if I still hated you." Jimin said, smiling. Jungkook couldn't contain his smile as he ran towards Jimin, hugging him tightly.
"Thank you so much....for everything. I promise I'll be better....hyung." He said, hurrying his chin on Jimin's shoulder. "You better be." Jimin said, chortling as he stroked Jungkook's back.
