Roger jumped as Brian pronounced that name.
AZK579AX... He knew that alien; it came to him the day when he first met him. Neither that thought made him relaxed: he was scared. On the other hand, Brian's body made him feel safe until he realised the situation: they were hugging each other since he was totally freaking out. He escaped from the gentle embrace, but suddenly, he felt a firm grip on his wrist: Brian was holding it.
"I'll explain everything when we are at mine."
The eldest told, glancing in the cerulean eyes. The fearful drummed only nodded in response. Brian began to walk with his usual fast pace; Roger couldn't keep up with the eldest scuttling walk.
"Slow down, Bri! I don't have those long legs of yours!"
As the younger requested, the curly-haired guy slackened his speed; this way, to Roger, began easy to follow the eldest. They were proceeding through messed up streets: everywhere, destroyed cars and shattered roads had the city look like an apocalyptic scenario.
It took them like ten minutes to finally reach Brian's house. They didn't get inside; Roger and the alien were led to the little garden behind the house. There, a new doorway (not that big as the main entrance of the house), was opened by the guitarist after he had let go Roger's wrist. The inside was something similar to a scientific lab (or more likely a technological garage...). Roger didn't know what to do; he was stunned by just looking at it from the outside. As the alien followed the guitarist in, the blond guy shook his head and got in as well. There wasn't much sunlight in there, but, when Brian turned on all the devices, the brightness of the screens lighted up the room. Roger was clearly amazed: yes, everything was technological in 2075, but, that was obviously a laboratory, which made Brian a full-fledged scientist. Brought back to reality by one of his foolish ideas, the blonde guy began giggling.
"You should call yourself 'The crazy doctor poodle'."
The curly guy didn't know if he had to feel irritated or amused; when in doubt, he didn't say anything in response to that. Suddenly, he turned himself from looking at one computer, to stare at Roger.
"You want to know what happened a while ago?"
The blonde tilted his head, then he nodded.
"It's pretty a long story... This is my lab, as you could have already understood, and it is here where I do my experiments. Then, let me introduce you AZK579AX; it is he who talked to me about what was going to happen: simply, some aliens, whose name we can't be pronounced, and so we're calling them 'they', came to the earth because of some problems with the population. From what I got, they're here to reset some kind of a project..."
This was the sentence which made Roger completely pale: were they searching for him? It was incredible... Luckily, the darkness of the room didn't make possible for Brian to recognise Roger's pale face.
"I don't know much more than this..."
Roger's heartbeat was becoming fast once again; what were they going to do then? He wanted to hide, he wanted to escape from them, but something inside was making him angry: those assholes were ruining a lot of people's lives, and he couldn't accept it.
"Brian..."
Now was the alien's time to talk.
"Actually, the only reason why I'm here is to warn you..."
Brian frowned.
"I have to give you one simple task before I have to run away because of them coming to chase after me; whatever will happen, please, stay safe here, don't go after them..."
