My eyes couldn't leave the bodies lying in front of us. Their pale faces and empty eyes sent shivers down to my body. Their dried lips parted. Everything was so still around us. No one moved. Brian kept clenching and unclenching his fist. His face devoid of any emotions yet his eyes screamed a thousand words. His eyes slowly met mine. We stared at each other, comforting each other, promising each other that we were gonna find the person behind this.

I moved my gaze to Micheal. His eyes were wet with tears. He stared at one spot on the floor not looking at the guy's body who was supposed to be his contrast to Noah. His eyes never left the bag which was holding the dead body of the guy. His jaw was clenched tightly and his hands kept twisting the helm of his shirt.

We all were in shock. Lost. Afraid.

This wasn't just a murder.

But a message to all of us. A message that warned us. A message that stated they were aware that we are finding them.

I started to tremble from head to feet. My hands getting cold. They are aware of us. They know what we are planning, where we are, and what they are capable of.

I looked at Daniel. His head was low and his one hand was on his forehead.

"They know," I whispered quietly, looking at the bodies.

Everyone looked up at me but my eyes were fixated on the girl that was supposed to be me.

"They know," I repeated again. "They're after us," I added.

I looked up to find everyone's eyes on me but their eyes lost in the thoughts of the danger and the challenges lying ahead.

We were all sent back to our rooms while the security got rid of the bodies. Each one of us walked in utmost silence, deep down we were all scared and wanted to run away from this facility to a faraway place where no one could find us. At least I was wishing that. My hands were still trembling from what we witnessed right now.

Not ready for spending the whole night alone we all got in Brian's room. Micheal tumbled down on the bed staring at the ceiling. It was the first time that I have seen Micheal not happy. His face always had a gleaming smile, but right now his face was ashen, his eyes swirly with unshed tears. Brian stood in the corner, his hands crossed, he kept looking at each one of us. When his eyes met mine, his expression softened a bit. He sent a small reassuring smile towards me, I smiled back at him. I looked at Noah who was like me sitting on the floor. His head resting on the knee, his face hidden with his hands.

There was a knock on the door. Brian pushed himself off the wall he was leaning on and walked towards the door.

"Daniel?" Brian asked as he opened the door.

"Just wanted to check up on you guys," Daniel said as he walked inside the door. "How are you guys holding up?" He asked.

"Three people are dead because of us, what do you expect?" Noah said and looked up for the first time in the past 10 minutes. His eyes were red and puffy. I wanted to reach out to him, but what Daniel said next rooted me to my spot.

"We have a mole,"

"Mole?" We all said in unison.

"Yes. The bags were found at the gates of the facility," He said as he walked towards the bed and sat down on the edge of it. "Brian?" He said as he showed a USB. Brian grabbed the USB and plugged in his computer.

We all gathered around it. A file popped up on it. It was security footage of today, showing outside the gates.

Brian pressed play and the video started playing. Everything looked normal, winds blowing the trees planted on the edge of the roads, cars passing by.
