"Italy?" Micheal asked. "If your intel is correct, that's the place where they are actually from. They found us here. They're aware of our every move all the way in America. If we are there, we would be transparent as glass."
"No. Daniel is right. After everything they have done till now, they would think we would move somewhere further away. And when you have to find someone, you don't search in your own house," I returned.
"Right," Daniel began. "You moving closer to them is the least expectant move from our side. And we have our secret bases all around Italy."
"Why there? And if your branch is spread in Italy, why did it take you this long to uncover about private jets?" Noah asked.
"Our secret organization maintain our distances in different countries agendas. Not interfering in anything of their country matter. We only open our eyes, when something of our interest pops up. That's why our intelligence that solely serves America is the most widespread and most connected." He said and tapped a button on the controls of the map. The whole screen lit up, and red dots started blinking all over the world map, showing various places the organization was spread.
"And they allow?" Micheal asked.
"Nothing comes for free," He replied and winked, not disclosing anything more.
I turned my head away from the map, looked down at my feet and took a deep breath. Preparing myself for what's coming next. Promising myself that this time I won't hide or run away or close the book and pretend nothing happened. Feeling better, I raked my hands through my wet hair, my fingers soothed through the damp tangles of my hair. I opened my eyes and found Brian's sharp green orbs on me. My breath hitched and I couldn't move away from his powerful stare directed at me. His calculating eyes felt like it could see right through my soul. A shiver went down to my spine. I wrapped my hands around me, but the chills crept through my toes, giving me pleasant warm tingles in my stomach. Afraid, I turned away and looked at Daniel who was busy on his computer. His left-hand elbow propped up, supporting his chin. While the other hand kept tapping on the keyboard, the clicking sound filling the silence. Micheal has moved to the opposite corner of the room, examining the cars, that gleamed under the bright lights. Noah passed through the glass cases which stored the guns.
"Alright," Daniel said as he closed his computer. Micheal and Noah's heads snapped at his direction. They started walking towards Daniel. "You guys are leaving tonight, although none of the unit people would know you have left. It would be later disclosed to them that you have been shifted to another facility somewhere in America itself. No one will see you leave."
"There are cameras all around? Guards?" Brian asked. "There's only one way if we used the passageway---"
"Yes Brian, the passageway," Daniel said interrupting Brian.
"What passageway?" I asked.
"Your rooms are exactly in the middle of the building. The rooms are built over an underground tunnel, which leads directly outside of the facility. The end is hidden and sealed, which would be opened at exactly 4 AM, for 45 seconds. I need you guys to go directly to your room, pack up, and reach the other end exactly at 4. Someone will be there which would lead you to a car. The car has an automated GPS system, which will show your destination. Brian, you will drive. After reaching the GPS will be automatically destroyed. At the destination, you will meet two guys who will travel with you all the way to Italy," Daniel said. "Now go. It's 3:30 right now. You have half an hour to reach the other end. The entry of the passageway is right below your desk. Go!"
We all hurried out of the door of the hall. But not trying to look suspicious we moved at a normal pace as we exited the hall and came under the view of cameras.
