YouTube Presents... (A Kyle David Hall fanfic)

Chapter 1

((A/N: this is a fan fiction, meaning that almost none of this is actually real!!! Also, my first story ever =) ))

I began opening my eyes to complete darkness, it was the first day of summer break and I couldn't even sleep in without waking up a few minutes after my alarm would normally go off.
It's around six in the goddamn morning and I have nothing to do, I can't go back to sleep and it's too early to make a YouTube video without waking up my parents, and trust me, that would be a bad idea.
I love to make videos on YouTube, it's a great way to spend my time and I love the benefits that come with it, I get to help people, make people smile, and go to great events like Playlist!

I figure since I'm not going to be able to get back to sleep, I might as well go to the skate park. I don't skate much, let alone do tricks, but I love it there because it's usually quiet, other then dorks yelling and screaming that they finally landed a trick or something stupid like that.
I get up and begin getting ready to leave the house. I grab my black ripped skinny jeans and a PTV band shirt and get changed into them. I grab a few band bracelets and tie up my converse high-tops before grabbing my beanie and skateboard. I go into my bathroom to do some quick, last-minute eye liner and curl my eye lashes.

I pack a small Batman backpack with a drawing pad, pencils, my phone and earphones, and video camera that I use for YouTube and left the house.
I rode down to the park, my bag bouncing on my back with every push of the skateboard. I turn the corner to the park and pick up my board before walking over to a large tree just a few metres off from the ramps.

I throw my bag down at the bottom of the tree and slump down next to it. I grab out my phone and plug in my earphones and press play on my music app. "Backseat Serenade" by All Time Low fills my ears as I reach for my video camera. I pull the screen out and face it towards myself so I know what I'll look like when I press record.

I press down the record button and begin talking.

"Hey guys! I'm Amanda Sphinx and it's summer break here in Australia! God, finally!" I raise my free hand in holy victory. "Anyways, your probably wondering why it's so dark right now, well, still getting out of the habit of waking up at six in the goddamn morning. So here I am... At the skate park at..." I quickly check my phone for the time, " 6:23am on the first Monday of summer holidays."

I make a slight face palm before turning off the camera. I place it back in my bag and grab out my sketch pad and a few pencils. I decide I wanted to draw one of my favourite YouTubers, Kyle David Hall. I watch heaps of people on YouTube, but for some reason he stands out to me the most. My favourite video of his is the one he did about bullying. I think it stood out to me the most because I get bullied quite frequently at my school because of the way I dress. My school is one of the only schools in Australia without a uniform, witch I am grateful for, I don't know what I would do with myself if I had to wear a uniform to school. Yuck.

Anyway, I begin to draw slight outlines of where his jawline, neck and shoulders would be. I continue in slight detail to outline where his hair would lay, then his beanie and so on so forth.

After about and hour of looking back and forth in between different selfies of his and my drawing, I am completely happy with the outlines and the shape of all his features. I just need to add more detail and shade it and I'm done.

I get interrupted by a phone call by an unknown number. I pick up my phone and answer it, wondering who would call me at eight in the morning.

"Hello?"

"Is this Amanda Sphinx?"

"Yes, this is she"

"Hello Amanda, I am calling to inform you that you and four other YouTubers are invited this year to travel with Warped Tour as our Warped YouTubers"

"Wait, are you serious?"

I heard a slight chuckle before the man on the other line replied. "Yes I am serious, if you decide you are coming call this number back in the next three days, we will need you in a hotel in California next week in order for you to come."

I am completely star struck right now, I have no idea what to say, so I just ask the first thing that comes to mind. "Who were the other four chosen YouTubers?"
