Zack

You kneeled in a cell. Both your hands were bound upwards by a chain that prevents you from unleashing your powers. You heard footsteps. Someone was running. You opened your eyes slowly to see someone standing in front of your cell.

"Zack?" you whispered.

"(Y/n). Yes it's me Zack. What happened to you? You look like a mess."

"I... When you left... I saw... my brother .. He attacked me.. Electrocuted me.." you were a bit out of breath.

"Your brother?"

"Yes. It was such a long time... I was still a little girl then.. But his face... didn't change... truly a God.. he is .." you laughed weakly.

"Alright. Tell me the whole story later. I have to let you out first." he said and fiddled with the cell doors.

"Zack. We can't... defeat him.. he's.. immortal.."

"You think that low of your abilities?" He kicked the cell door.

"No.. he's just too strong for me.. One strike.. and look at me.. close to dying."

"Stop saying that. Where's your honor? You have no right to rule the underworld with a weak mindset like that." he kicked the door harder until it gave way.

"What.. are you.. talking about? How... did you..."

Zack pulled a knife in his pocket and raised his hands.

"Not so fast." a woman spoke.

Zack didn't have much time to react when a ball of metal passed through his stomach. He looked down and saw all the blood that splattered out of his body. He coughed more of the red liquid.

"Zack?" you called out. His blood were all over you.

He looked at you with wide eyes. Then the woman pulled the flail she was holding before it hit you, causing the ball of metal to pass through Zack's body again and back to the wielder. Zack kneeled and slowly slumped to the ground. His eyes signalling his life has ended.

"Master (Y/n)!" Rem ran to you and cupped your cheeks.

"Rem? Why did you do that to Zack?" you asked.

"There is no Zack. That man is Master Zagreus, your brother."

"My.. brother..?"

Rem touched your wound and started healing them.

"Yes! He deceived me. He took your appearance and planned to kill you when he discovered you were here. He also used Zack's form to gather intel about you."

"Why would he do that?"

"Because he wants to rule both the heavens and the underworld. With you here and not locked up, that position is in jeopardy because Master Hades chose you as his successor. We all knew you were free because we suddenly sensed both you and Master Hades' powers."

"Why do you know so much?"

"Master. You might not remember me but I served you in the underworld before. I was devastated when you ran off and never came back. Lady Persephone let me go after a few years and I ended up working here. And I'm glad I chose this place because I met you here again." she smiled.

"Ah. I see. I'm sorry for not remembering you." You stood up.

"It's okay. I'm happy.
Now that I could serve you again." she said.

"We have to go first though. He will resurrect soon." You told Rem.

"Yes master."

Rem focused her mana on the chains that held you. They began to freeze and explode, breaking them to pieces.

"Let's go."

You held her hands and you both ran out.

"Master!" she exclaimed happily.

Outside, the battle rages.

Waves and waves of ice blast explode everywhere. The clang of metal and shouts of rage echoed all throughout.

"Elsa!" Honeymaren shouted and goes to Elsa. They circled the enemy back to back.

"Their army is neverending!" Elsa shouted.

"Yeah! It seems like.." She sliced one of the soldiers. "For every one soldier we kill, two more pops up!"

"Our army is getting tired. If this keeps up, we will have to retreat."

They ran off in different directions. Elsa continuously sprayed the soldiers with freezing icicles while Honeymaren sliced and diced.

"Ugh!" Elsa exclaimed.

She was tackled by a bigger man. She slump to her side. She was about to get up when a soldier pointed his sword at her.

"This is the end for you." he said.

"Elsa!" Honeymaren tried to get to Elsa as fast as she could but lots of soldiers blocked her way.

The soldier plunged his sword but it didn't hit Elsa. Instead, the soldier flew away. He was hit by a flail.

"Get up and get away from the enemy!" Rem shouted.

From a window, you jumped out and landed in front of Elsa. You scorched the enemy with the blue flames you wield.

"Sorry I'm late." you looked at Elsa and smiled.

You helped her up.

"Better late than never." she smiled for a moment but frowned suddenly "Is that really you now?"

"In the flesh" you said. "Want to make sure?" You raised your eyebrows at her knowingly.

She laughed and pulled you in for a kiss.

"Alright!!!" you screamed and let your powers out, turning your hair and eyes aflame.

You jumped into the fray and started a barbeque party with the enemy as the main ingredient. Rem joined the fight with her trusty morning star, impaling large numbers of soldiers.

"Elsa! Reinforcements coming!" Anna shouted.

Behind her, the Arendelle army marched. They strike their shields with their swords and shouted. "For Arendelle!!"

Elsa nodded.

"Charge!" Anna shouted.

"You heard the queen! Into the fray men!!" the commander ordered and the army attacked the enemy.

Elsa ran into you and you joined forces. Freezing and burning everyone in your way until the last of the enemy was banished. You won the fight.

"Fools." A demonical laugh was heard.

"Zagreus." you called out.

"Are you ready? Now we decide the true heir of Hades. Come. Let's battle for the throne. Until death."

"I have no interest in ruling the underworld." you said.

"Oh? Too bad because Hades has already chosen you. And the only way to revert that is to kill you."

"Why don't you ask Hades for it then?"

"You think he would give it to me?" Zagreus laughed. "Oh (Y/n). What a brat. Come and fight me. I could have killed you when you were defenseless but be thankful you have excellent allies serving you. Let's decide this in a battle now. Stop running."

He raised his hands and the soldiers you fought stood up. They then turned into ferocious demons.

"Final round (Y/n)." he smiled. "It's been fun playing with you but it all ends now."

I don't know who that is in the photo. I found it on google when I'm searching for zagreus. I want to imagine Zagreus looks like this. He's beautiful 😸..
