“Come on! We have rehearsals and if you’re late to your first one, I don’t doubt Joe will kick both of our butts.” He said to me while I rolled over.

“What time is it?” I asked after sitting up fully. Dana had invited me to live with him a month after we got together. It was May now and we both had to get to tour rehearsals. Joe signed me in mid-July to Island Records as a solo artist. He figured if we put out a single and it did well, he would make me an opening for one of the artists he has. Originally, he had me opening up for Shawn and after I told him the story, he allowed me to open up for IM5.

“Twelve.” He told me simply while I glared at him. We didn’t have rehearsals until three thirty and he was waking me up now?

“Dana would you mind explaining your logic to me right now before I throw something at you?” I asked as politely as I could while he just nodded his head.

“Okay so we need to eat lunch, then we have to come back and get changed into rehearsal clothes and then make it there in time so no one will want to kill us. I just rolled my eyes at his plan before I got out of the bed.

I went into the shower and got dressed before putting my hair into a high ponytail. Making my way down the steps, I stopped once I saw what was happening in the living room. Dana had re-created our first date, with the movies sat on the couch all the way to the food. I was about to call him when I felt his hand take my waist and pull me into him as we made our way to the table the food was sat on. My eyes widened as I realized what the bags said.

“Dana…” I trailed off not knowing what to say. He kissed my lips and smiled before taking out the cartons. I looked curiously at the container he opened and my eyes widened once I realized that it was real. “How the hell did you get Jiangs in California?”

He just laughed and told me that it was a secret. Oh I will definitely find out how as I took a bite of my sesame chicken. It felt like I was being reborn as I let the flavors explode in my mouth. I was munching happily, unaware that I was making any sounds until Dana bumped my shoulder. I looked up, a lo mein noodle hanging from my mouth and he laughed.

“Your killing me with the moaning.” He told me honestly, his face getting closer to mine. I was about to lean in too until I realized there was still a noodle on the corner of my mouth. Changing my direction, I leaned my head backwards while slurping the noodle in. I smiled at his face while munching on the rest of my food.

“I was going to do the scene from The Lady and The Tramp.” He said to me while I nodded.

“I know, this is my food. If you want to share your own that is perfectly acceptable.” I said back to him, making him laugh.

While we were eating, we put on Divergent to watch. It was right at the scene when she completed the fear modules and was about to leave the room.

“Gosh! Even I can feel the tension between them. Just kiss already.” I said to the screen as I continued watching.

“You’re one to talk.” I heard Cassidy say as she came in and sat down, Cole following after. I looked at her confused as to what she was talking about while Cole and Dana laughed. “You’re kidding, right?”

“What do you mean?” I asked her, totally oblivious to something she thought was obvious.

“Oh please! Before you and Dana got together there was so much freaking tension. He couldn’t even look at you without wanting to jump your bones and I know you were the same way.” She said while Dana turned red. I just shook my head at her accusation and watched the movie.

It was already three and Dana was rushing us out the door when I finally thought of something.

“When did you and Cassidy even get there?” I asked Cole as we made our way to Dana’s car. He was definitely in a hurry; when I got in the car, he strapped my seatbelt on for me before zooming away from his house.
