The week after his biology exam, on the Friday afternoon Louis was sat on Max's sofa, watching his boyfriend play a round of Call Of Duty. One of Maxs' friends from his old school was there as well, chatting away to Louis. The boy, Adam, knew of the drama between Jayden and Harry but as far as Louis knew he didn't know that Louis knew Harry.

"Where's Jay?" Adam asked Max when he died on the game.

"I dunno, out probably. He met up with Lex the other day, you know Alexis his old ex, reckon he wants to get back with her." Max replied, laughing a bit.

"She'll probably just cheat on him with Harry again and the whole fighting cycle will start again."

"Yeah." Max laughed, switching off the xbox and going onto normal TV.

Louis hands had balled into fists, angry at the comment Adam had made. Max slung his arm round Louis' shoulders and pulled him closer.

"S'pose that Harry was an asshole anway, deserves a hit or two." Max laughed, Adam replying with another horrible comment about Harry.

Louis took a deep breath and stood up, saying he was going to the toilet. While in the bathroom he text his mum and said

I wanna come home, can you call me in like two minutes with an excuse and get me to come home

He waited till she'd read the message and washed his hands, going back out to the living room and sitting down next to Max. In under two minutes his phone rang, his mums contact flashing across the screen. He answered and pretend to be confused about what was going on, then agreeing and saying he'd see her in a bit.

"What's up?" Max asked once he'd hung up.

"One of my sisters has been sick and my mum needs me home to help with the others, I'll see you Monday though." Louis said, leaning over to kiss Maxs cheek.

"Alright." Max shrugged, watching Louis pull on his shoes and walk out of the door.

As he was walking to the bus stop his mind wandered to when he was at Harrys last Saturday then remembered leaving his drama folder there. The bus approached and he got on it, pulling out his phone to call his mum and explaining that he needed to go to Harrys to get his work. She understood and hung up, letting the boy send Harry a text.

Yo Hazza, i'm coming round cause i need to get my drama stuff :D x

He got no reply but shrugged, watching the houses pass. The ride to Harrys went surprisingly quickly, jumping off the bus and walking quickly to the boys front door. There was shouting coming from inside the house and with a confused expression he knocked. Zayn opened it a few minutes later, freezing when he saw the boy.

"Hi, er, I told Harry I was coming, I need to get my drama stuff." Louis told him nervously, shuffling his feet.

"Yeah, it's er probably not the best time right now." Zayn told him, looking behind him where the shouting was coming from.

"I sort of need the stuff. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah..." Zayn trailed off "actually no. But you might be able to do something, come in."

Zayn stepped to the side and let the younger boy into the house, noticing him flinch when another shout was heard.

"Look, I don't want this to freak you out but H isn't himself right now, you might be able to do something though. If you don't like it you can go, get your drama stuff and I'll drive you home." Zayn told him, motioning for the boy to follow him.
