Chapter 11

At school's ceremony, the principal stood in the midst announcing.

Maratsuzuki National Academy ( M. N. A.)
Given a chance to sponsor a program. As we all know that our school's policy is to help people who are in need, it was written on our core values which are Integrity, duty, responsibility and compassion. We'll be feeding 2000 kids in a rural place and plant 500 trees in the foot of the mountain nearby the village. The Student Council will lead the program. If you would like to help you may donate or volunteer to help in that place

You'll be staying 6 days and 5 nights. If anyone is interested please come by to my office for sign up or looked for our Student Council's Secretary. We are looking forward for kids' smile and a green environment that's all

Hua's POV

We were lined up for the ceremony. I stood on the middle of our class' line and Kaito was standing in front of me. Mina was standing beside us,Her class and my class are close

After the principal announced and the hymn of our school, the Student Council stood in the front of the stage. They are facilitating the ceremony like a guard dogs. Mina bump my elbow to get my attention. "Would you come" She whispered

I raised both of my shoulder signing her that I don't know. I don't have any attention to be special mentioned by those officers. They have a sharp eyes for trouble makers. Mina on the other hand somehow cool with them.

Then she pointed Kaito using her mouth so I tapped his shoulder. He looked at me and said "What?" without a sound. I pointed at Mina while looking at the stage. "Would you come?" Mina whispered "Yes!" He replied with an OK gesture on his hand, hidden at his back. I guessed he doesn't want the officers to noticed too.

As soon as the ceremony finished Kaito, Mina and I were left at the School's field. Everyone else went to their classes, clubs, library, canteen.The three of us stayed cause Mina told us to. "What do you want to talk about?" Kaito asked. "do you have classes for today?" Mina's replied. "My class will start after first period" He said. "Well then, you guys please help me 🙏 please please please please" Mina is begging us.

"What is it this time?" He answered "well you see... Uhm do you remember the bags that I let you guys to carry?" She was kinda shy. "yeah?!" Kaito said curiously.  "Those bags are for those kids, me and the other cheering squad members are going too but we lack at man power. So could you guys please lend me a hand?" Mina asked

"Didn't I told you that I'll be joining? I like kids, they are so innocent and carefree" Kaito explained. Then Mina looked at me with a pity eyes. "But it was just announced today, how come you already know about it?" I asked.

We bought those foods from a grocery shop inside the mall a few days ago after Kaito's birthday. The school just announced it today. " Well you see the principal planned before hand then he saw us rehearsing for the upsoming sport fest as he passed by. So he insisted us to join and make a bit performance for the kids' entertainment and I liked it" Mina said

Her eyes were gleaming and she looked like she's excited. She bought candies and foods and stuff for those Kids. Was it the fund of the principal or is it her own money. I can't tell whether she's excited to perform for the kids

"anyways the shirt that Hua carried? That was the shirt that we are going to wear by the way Beb whether you would say yes or no you're still coming" Mina added. WHAT!!?? Me!?

"hey, Why didn't you asked my permission?" I said. "Well because I said so" proudly she is
"Is it the fund of the school you are using back then?" I asked curiously. I know Mina won't take advantage of the school funds however it's a different story if she was influenced by her cheering squad.  "No, that was my money. You heard the old man he said that we are free to donate anything and I am planning to have some fun with those kids and play some games with  rewards " She said

So she is not just a girl with a tough attitude but she is a girl with a genuine heart. "Well let's meet up on Wednesday at 9 am. Actually Friday at 12 noon for the volunteers but for us, organizers, we will leave earlier than them and bring your things good for 9 days and 8 nights chaw!"

Then she leaved us without our word then I looked at Kaito and he was  thinking of something. I couldn't believe it it's just a few days ago we held a birthday party and this coming Wednesday for the school's program! What the hell is wrong with this woman? Doesn't she knows about rest or not taking other people's role? The student council should be the one doing it.

" hey, uhm... What do you think should I bring? A toy car, a teddy bear, books? Man this is so frustrating" Kaito said. I was a bit startled when he opened the conversation. I was shocked because he didn't even think of anything about Mina instead "what to bring" But now that you've mentioned it

I should sort things out too. What should I bring?
Should I bring my crocs slippers or my havayanas? What shirt should I bring? Plain shirt or printed ones?  Should I bring a lotion but what kind? Sunscreen, mosquito repellant or moisturizer? Should I bring my own pillow? Can I have my own shampoo? Should I bring my blower? Is there an electricity there? Man😱😱😱this is so frustrating I can't even decide what to bring...

I haven't done camping before. Most of the camping trips that I went when I was a kid was with my family and they are well prepared at everything. It's my first time on my own and it makes me a bit anxious. I can barely make a fire but I can't survive without food and water... Or should I bring some? 🧐

I have read books about it and watched some videos when I was six but to actually survive in a rural place.It's not me, I grew up as a city boy
Wait... I saw in a documentary that there are rural places that eat bugs and snakes. My parents didn't do that! We eat regular foods. What if the place that we are going to served foods like that😨

I am in trouble, I better  research about the place where we are going to.Hua don't be hysterical your girlfriend is looking forward to you. Man up! Don't chicken out. I better go home early today. After school I'll go straight to the principal's office and ask some questions then packed things up and buy things that I needed

Immediately! Then when we reach to that place I better document everything so that I can command one of my juniors that are coming the things that I needed. Wait...
What if there's no WIFI! or Network! NOOOOOO

Kaito's POV
After Mina left us I've been thinking what toy should I bring for us to play with the kids. Hmm... I have a lot of toys on my storage room that I used to play when I was a kid. I also have fairytale books with good lessons. I looked at Hua and he was just standing there looking at Mina as she left. He looks so into it, maybe he can give me an advice. Should I asked this man?

I think so, He is smart and all" hey, uhm... I'm a bit hesitant. He turn his head and looked at me while both of his hand are kept on his pocket. What do you think should I bring? A toy car, a teddy bear, books? Man this is so frustrating" I said

Then he was shocked, Maybe he don't know. Wait... I can bring both!  For those kids who likes to read and for those kids who likes to play!! Sounds good 😂😊 Then I noticed Hua, he was like frustrated. I think He was  thinking of bringing Sato and his other friends too

Then I saw Hua scratching his head like crazy so I back off a bit. I guess he was more frustrated than I am.
