Kaito's POV

It's Saturday and Sato planned us to date on a nearby restaurant . It was new restaurant on the street so we tried it. I'm a bit nervous because it's my first date with a guy. I was waiting for him, I was texting him. Where is he? He hasn't replying to my text though I even tried to chat him or DM him. Then I felt someone sat in front of me.

"Sorry this seat is taken.." as I take a look I saw the woman. I stopped from what I'm doing then I rolled my eyes. "Ugh why are you here?" I said. "Let's talk please" She said. There were no sign of his bodyguard. "Sorry but I'm not interested" I stood up and about to walk away when she suddenly said "Sato won't come, I asked for his help so we could talk"

Damn that Sato, what did she do to you? "What did you bribed him for?" I asked."I did not!" She said. Then I received a text message from Sato. He said that he was doing it for me and he wanted me to fixed everything with my family so I could be free from the past. I'll punish you after this Sato 💢 I sat on the chair waiting for her explanation.

"Do you want something? What do you want to eat? Waiter!"  She was a bit enthusiastic today. She even called the waiter while smiling. What was her scheming today? The waiter gave us the menu. She was ordering something on the menu while the waiter was writing it. She looked at me and said" what about you? What do you want my treat"
Cut the goodies good shoe here ugh! "Just give me some Brownies and some a chocolate shake with cookies and cream on top." I said to the waiter. The waiter left us "Is it OK for you to eat desserts without a meal?" She said. "Why do you care?" I said 😒Just tell me what you want to say lady I want to get out here as much as possible.

"OK let's cut the chase as you like" She said. She was being polite and nice to me as if something happened to her. "I'll be gone permanently this time, I'll stay with Ferdinand at the US for good." She said. "So what?" Why telling me this now? You already left me and now you just want to say this to me? "Why do I care?" I said bluntly. She sighed and said "I know that our past was not good but I'm just gonna say this that all of my decisions were for you son" She said. "wow! I thought I will never hear that word from you again SON tsk. All of your decisions? For me? Really? Those are for your selfishness! You are just wasting my time"  I said 😒

"I know I sounded like a selfish woman and I know that I've became a coward but please hear me out." She said. Then the waiter came served us the food that we ordered. "When your brother died I got scared that I might lose you then your father got fired and I was stressed that time. I tried to find a suitable job and inquire of your father's approval but he didn't even do something for me." She said then I interrupted her" Now it's my fault right? "

" No! No"

"But your point that it was about me right?" I was getting a bit tired listening to this woman. "No please hear me out first, I couldn't stand a chance alone working so I got frustrated. Your father and I got divorced because he keeps on ignoring the things that I've worked for. I left you on your father hoping that he realized that your brother is not the only son we have. I thought he would gain his sanity so I distanced myself from him. It's the only way I know. We were flooded by debts so I worked hard. I was a cashier on a store every morning and at night I'm a waitress on a club.

Her eyes were getting a bit teary, her nose was getting clogged.  I always have your picture hid on my phone case cause you're the only one that makes mama strong. When I was about to visit you I heard that your father committed a suicide and he left you to your Grunkle my father.

I was in pain and believe me I loved him. That time I saw you and Grunkle, Dad told me that you are not happy to see me and he said that I should at least find my happiness for now. In my mind I will work hard for you so I never visit you cause I have a lot of work load then I met Ferdinand at a night club.

Suddenly a tear drop from my own eyes, she was crying and I was teary.

He was nice and rich. He took care of me and ones again I felt love. By the time we got together and had our family I remembered you. I want you to experience the love that was stolen from you at a young age.

I bought you your condominium but I told Dad that he should not tell it. I want you to experience things and buy you things that you deserve!
Dad told me that you rejected it all so I looked for a way to personally apologize to you and to tell everything that happened and to give you what you truly deserve.

I suddenly stood up, I couldn't contain my emotion anymore." Son always remember that mama never forgets you and mama loves you" She was crying when she said those words.

Before I leave she said "I wish you to be happy, Sato is a good guy. He even told me that I should meet up with you and clear things up even though I don't have the courage to do so. He pushed me to do it because He loves you. Son I have him my contact number please contact me."

I wiped my tears and said "What a wonderful story but I got bored so I'll leave and by the way I'll pay for my food." I left my money on the table and my food untouched. As soon as I was out the restaurant, my eyes burst in to tears. I couldn't contain this sadness and guilt. All those past years that I've been holding on. I moved out from my condominium after that I learned that it was you who bought it. I lived on an apartment because of my hatred from you. After what you have said now, I'm filled with guilt.
