Chapter 33

Sato's POV

I carried Kaito to his bed, Hua gave me the address so I drove him here. He is so heavy 😣 I carried Kaito way up to his condominium. He wasn't heavy before when he rode me. As soon as we reached the living area I dropped Kaito. I removed his bag and Man! It was so heavy! I took a peek on his bag and I was surprised! Books that are dictionary thick and big as an encyclopedia.

I stretched a bit of my arms and my back. Then I carried Kaito again but this time he was lighter than earlier. Maybe because of those books 🤔 He was sweating a lot and so hot. When we were with Hua, I would like to bring him to the hospital but he insisted not to. He said that he just want to rest on his bed so I took him here. It wasn't easy at first because he was walking sloppy so I gave him a piggy back ride.

I turn on the AC and adjusted it so he could rest well. He was sleeping when I covered him with a blanket. He was sound a sleep so I took off to find some basin. I poured room temperature water and a towel. I soaked it and placed it to his forehead so the towel will absorbed the heat. I ran to the nearest drug store to buy some medicine. When I bought It I carried a 1.5 bottle filled with water. Every 4 hours I monitored him and gave him medicine. I woke him up to drink some water. He keeps on waking up to pee and then back to sleep.

He doesn't noticed but he was emptying the 1.5 bottle full of water bit by bit. My father used to say that water is the best medicine and my mother said that we release heat by peeing too. So I came up with this Idea when I was a child, it was really effective though however it was pain in the butt if the sick person keeps on thinking about the big bottle. He might feel anxious and won't drink that much. It's already 4 in the morning but I haven't sleep a lot. I monitored his temperature and it's getting low. I was feeling a bit drowsy so I slept for a while.

I was sitting on a chair while he was on bed sleeping nicely. I hold his hand as I placed my head to his comfy bed. I closed my eyes and couldn't even feel anything. my eyes were getting heavier. I didn't noticed that I closed my eyes and sleep

Kaito's POV

I woke up from my bed feeling a bit dizzy and odd. I was confused because of the towel on my forehead. Sato was sleeping beside me holding my hands. I can't remember it's so vivid. What happened yesterday? I saw a basin on my desk next to a lamp. I saw an empty bottle next to it and some medicine. Sato must have took care of me. Then my senses were coming back. I remembered that we have a class today and I won't be attending because I felt sick however Sato doesn't have one so he should go to school.

I stood up to wash myself up without Sato noticing. I changed my clothes because I felt so sticky and stinky, my sweat must have dried. I wore a white t shirt sized XXL. It was long enough to cover my short. I looked at my fridge to see what I can cook. I saw some eggs, bacons and a fish. I cooked the eggs two sunny side up and two scrambled eggs. Most of the time I cooked Scrambled egg cause I don't like the texture of sunny side up. I fried the bacons and a fish while I cooked the rice in a rice cooker. As soon as the bacon and the fish fried I also fried the rice. It was the best if the rice were fried mixed with diced carrots and green peas. Then I saw Sato running worried. He was a bit sleepy though as he yawn and rubbed his eye. "What are you doing!" Angrily he said.

"I'm cooking" I said. "No! You must stay and rest I should be cooking" He said. He was so worried that he approached me, he was so close that I can even hear his heart.

*Badump

He took off my apron but I resisted. "I'm almost finished!" I said. He moved a distance away from me. He arranged the plates and the mat on the table. "You know you should rest" He said while he was putting the spoons and the forks. While we were dining he seemed to be sad. He didn't even speak a word to me while eating. "Uhm you should go to your class, I'll be alright" I said. He looked at me in the eyes and he looks like as if he wanted to stay longer. "I will stay here, you just came from fever" He said. After we ate he took care of the dishes. I vacuum the living area but then Sato got angry "Why are you so stubborn I said just rest I'll took care of it" He said

I ignored him, after a minute he finished the dishes quickly while I'm still half way of my cleaning. He grabbed me by the arm and took the vacuum out of me. He then vacuum the living area, then I went to my bed and looked at my phone. I was playing rules of survival out of boredom. Then Sato peeked at me, He saw me playing games. "Why are you not sleeping?" He asked. Again I ignored him. He approached me took my phone this time I got pissed. "Hey! What was that for!" I said

"Stop playing and REST!" he said. "tsk! FINE! But I won't sleep if you don't sleep too!" I said. I get it, Sato is worried about me but he didn't get enough sleep so he deserved some rest too. Sato then headed to the living area but before he could walked away I stopped him. "Where are you going?" I said. "To the couch to sleep" He said. "Sleep here beside me then" I said I wasn't aware what I blurted out. I was shocked at myself. OH my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh!

Kaito!!! What did you just said? Sato then layed on the bed next to me. Why? 😭 I faced the other direction, avoiding facing him. It's too embarrassing already. Two men sleeping in one bed in the afternoon GREAT!😒
