Dear Gabriel,

The last letter helped me a lot, so the therapist gave me another memory prompt. Things You Said When You Thought I Was Asleep. Nothing came to me at first, but then I remembered that time when I was going through a really rough patch. My job or something, and you were up around 2 A.M. brainstorming ideas to make me feel better. They ranged from pranking the receptionist in the lobby to taking me to Disney World. And it was the sweetest thing because you didn't know I could hear you. This was all of your own accord, not for rewards or anything. It really boosted self confidence and made me love you all the more. Another time, we had just had some stupid fight, and you were laying in bed that night trying out different ways to apologize. It was the cutest thing and I forgave you right then and there. That time I revealed that I had been listening, and neither of us slept after that....you know. Again, this really helped me. It helps me connect with you, feel like you're still here in a way. Charlie's still good. Still amazing and helpful. Also Cas is doing a smidge better, at least I think. He's still a bit rough but less emotionless but he also won't go to therapy at all, no matter how much I tell him that it's helpful, and that I would know. Anyway goodbye, I still love you.
