"Detective?"

"Detective...?" Nines knelt down, placing his hand on the detectives face. A quick scan indicated that Gavin was in fact unconscious. On the floor. Again. Nines sighed, raising his hand a foot away from the detective's face.

"Wake up detective!" Nines then promptly smacked Gavin in the face. Gavin's eyes shot open.

"Agh what the-...Ugh, for fucks sake Nines..." Gavin sat up, placing a hand on his cheek. "You know there's other fucking ways of waking me up."

"Well I'm sorry Gavin. If you don't want me to wake you, maybe you should try waking up yourself every once in a while. Now get up. I've prepared your breakfast and coffee," Nines stood, holding out a hand for the other to take.

"Whatever...What time is it?" Gavin stood up, ignoring the android's helping hand.

"It is approximately 7:30 a.m. You were supposed to be at work an hour ago," Nines crossed his arms, leaning on the counter.

"Shit why didn't you wake me up an hour ago then?" Gavin made his way to the counter, ignoring the scrambled eggs and toast, and grabbing his coffee.

"I figured that you needed your beauty sleep," he teased.

"Haha..." Gavin took a sip, glancing over the counter. As much as he hated to admit it, the food smelled damn good. Two pills sat next to the plate; painkillers for Gavin's headaches. "Why'd you put those there?" he nodded towards the capsules.

"After the drinking you did last night, I figured you'd need them," Nines replied, "And I know you were drinking detective."

"I told you to stop scanning me, you creep," he grabbed the pills, popping both in his mouth then chugging the rest of his coffee.

"I'm sorry Gavin, but your safety is of the upmost importance,"

Gavin ^^

"Plus your're my ride back to the station," he shrugged, arms still crossed. Gavin took seat, beginning to eat the breakfast his android prepared for him.

"Mm...This is actually good..."

"Of course it is, detective. I followed the recipe precisely," he uncrossed his arms, leaning on the counter.

"You're just perfect, huh?" he questioned, taking another bite of his breakfast.

"I'm not perfect, Gavin," he replied.

"But you're pretty damn close," he glanced back to Nines. Nines smiled a bit and nodded.

"Pretty damn close."
