"What!No!!" This can't be true, I can't be dead!

"'What', yes, Cassey your dead." Alex said in a mimicking tone. But even after all of this, people not noticing me and me waking up on the floor, I still didn't believe him. After a moment of silence he speaks again, "Agh! Have you noticed that you can't remember how you got here, laying near the road I mean. Seriously, come on! You can't be this stupid. Many other dead people a.k.a spirits would've noticed by now." Did he just call me stupid!

"Excuse me for being a little oblivious at times! And who said you could come in here and lay your hands on me, tell me I'm dead, mock me, and call me stupid!!! Agh! You are such an ignorant jerk!" I stomp out of the open café door onto the sidewalk and hear him following me. Just as I was about to walk faster he grabs my arm, tightly, and snaps his fingers.

I let out a little squeal, realizing that everything and everyone around us has changed. The sidewalk and roads are now a dark wooden floor, the stores dissipated into dark red walls with roses as it's pattern, and the people now all have dark wings, some sitting behind desks with normal looking people.

"Ahhhh!" I scream and cover my mouth. I don't know how it happened, but after he had grabbed my arm, we ended up here.

"Will you shut up! You'll draw attention to us!" He said in a yelling whisper. Then started pulling my wrist, leading me away from the giant room where there were more things like him, down a hallway, and into a smaller room. The door had his first name and last initial on it. He shut the door hard, letting go of my wrist.

"Hey, we were practically running! I thought you were doing your job!" I say, as soon as he closes the door. I turn to face him and he has his back pressed up against the door.

"I am doing my job." He said after he looked though the curtains.

"Then why were we running! And if we are doing what's supposed to be done-" I was still mad at him, but if we were doing the right thing so be it.

"Whoa, Whoa, whoa! Slow down horsey! I never said we were doing the right thing, I said I am doing my job."

"Horsey? Okay... Wait what do you mean," I pointed at him. He rolled his eyes, pushed my hand, and mumbled something I couldn't hear. I spoke up, "We aren't doing the right thing!! If we-"

"Agh! I'm sorry I couldn't hear you... Over that loud ass yelling you can't stop doing! Look, you died a certain way. The way you died makes this a pain in my a- neck, but all I can do is hope the Boss gets here quickly. If anyone saw you..." He shakes his head.

"Well I'm sorry to, but I can't help the fact that I died, nor can I change the way it happened." And now that I thought about it, how did I die? "Since you mention it, how did I die?"

He walked over to a dark wooden desk with a black roller chair. He started typing on his computer. I decide to drop the question. Gosh, this guy is pointless! I sit in one of the two wooden chairs with red cushioning and rest my head on my palm, examining my nails. How are they still perfectly manicured? Then I realize that Alex is looking at me with a grin.

"What?" I said, confusion stained my face.

He cleared his throat and his grin dissapeared, "Nothing. Are you going to stare at your nails all day, Ms.Perfect, or would you like to know how you died?" I didn't speak for a while, nor did I know I'd be scared. I felt like my heart would have stopped beating, if it hadn't already. I assume it showed because Alex scoffed and said, "So, would you rather not cuz-"

"No, no! I- I want to know. Just tell me! Please..."

"Haha! Alright, Cassey, be prepared for the worst thing you'll ever hear in your life, or death. Haha! It all started with a beautiful man, " He scoffed as he said beautiful, "White hair, and light blue eyes. I personally believe that he is more ignorant then me, or just insane."

He laughed, then proceeded to make comments as he read.
