"wow! your cheeks are so red jaehyun!"

"haha sorry," jaehyun chuckled while johnny's hands cupped his warm pink cheeks.
"i still get kinda shy with the whole kissing stuff. let alone anything like this... so."

"says mister 'i bet you're smiling because of my name popping up'...
you get cocky behind the phone," he pinched his cheeks.

"haha, i know i know, who doesn't?"

"yeah you're right."

at the moment, johnny and jaehyun sat on the sofa watching some films. jaehyun's head rested on johnny's lap as he combed his brunette hair with his finger tips. the younger male felt warm inside and held the other's hand just to massage it with his thumbs.

"i told doyoung about us. he's really happy,"
the brown haired male smiled looking down at jaehyun.

"r-really?"

he nodded.

"oh..." jaehyun mumbled, turning to his side. "that's good..."

he found it hard to talk about doyoung at all nowadays, especially after taeyong's suspicious behaviour.
jaehyun was just afraid of what would happen regarding the other male. after all, he believed he still liked him after several years later.

johnny noticed the younger male's dull expression. "is there something wrong?

"no... it's nothing... i'm just," he paused staring at johnny's large hands.
"doyoung has been distant with us lately..."

johnny frowned at him, knowing fully well that he was right. although he didn't want to agree with it,
he just had to face the truth; doyoung had basically disappeared.

"mmm," he sighed, "yeah... i know. but he said he'd be back really really soon!
he'll be back before you know it."

"i guess so..."

"was that all?" johnny asked as he tilted his head to the side.

jaehyun pursed his lips together and looked away.
"um... well, we haven't gotten the chance to talk about being um..."

"boyfriends?" the elder finished his sentence. jaehyun hummed in response and johnny cooed, getting a hold of jaehyun's cheeks again and making him face him.

"i'm sorry it's just because-"

"jaehyun, would you like to be my boyfriend?"

the brunette's cheeks flushed crimson shocked but he felt a smile form on his face. he looked up into johnny's deep brown eyes and asked confidently, "and johnny hyung, would you like to be mine?"

the elder male's face lit up as he leant down to peck jaehyun's lips. he couldn't believe this was happening, still.

"of course," he replied in between kisses. he propped himself back up against the sofa cushion and looked at the way jaehyun's cheeks hued the same pretty crimson, and how his smile made his heart beat.

everything happening right now, and the way that he looked, it took him back to the moment he first laid eyes on jaehyun.
he was this normal instagram account owner that updated about his daily life, which revolved around his friends,
cities and aesthetically pleasing foods.

now, here he was, in johnny's arms,
looking right at him.

it was just too good to be true.
jaehyun, someone who johnny used to love from afar,
turned into someone who was right beside him.

he smiled,
"i'm really glad to have you."

jaehyun snuggled into his arm and giggled cutely,

"me too, johnny."
