It all started during Morning Meeting. I remember our Head of School telling us to wash our hands twice, singing Happy Birthday. Thank you to all of our teachers for protecting our community and prevent us from panicking in disastrous times. We really appreciate it!
But I can still picture the last day of school before Spring Break. Somehow, it felt actually felt like the actual last day of school to my friends and me. We had to clean out our lockers, but most importantly, we had to take off the sticky notes that hung on the door of the lockers. This made me tear up inside. For some reason, I knew that would be the last day; that feeling weighed heavy in my heart. I don't know why I felt this.
During the last day of Spring Break, my parents got a message from Tower Hill, which stated that they were closing for who knows how long.
I realized how much I will miss seeing people in halls, being scared by my friends, and playing tennis with my coaches and the tennis team. I will be finishing my freshman year on my computer over Zoom, but I'm grateful because at least, our community is healthy and safe.
~You never truly realize how much you miss something until it is completely taken away from you.~
This thought continuously strikes me the most. It's true; there's no denying it because, in the first time in my life, many things had to be taken away. There were no exceptions; safety first.
We are currently on Zoom everyday, going to our classes and being as productive as possible in these situations we have to face. Thank you to all of our teachers for making online school possible to allow us to continue to learn new things everyday!

Hey guys, hope everyone is safe from COV-19. This will be the most honest and heartfelt story I will ever write. It will not only represent my emotions, experiences, what I learned, advice, what I am grateful for, whom I connect with, what normal is like during this time, altering hobbies, thank you's, and etc, it will mainly symbolize hope and positivity.
I know how some stories say that hope is a dangerous thing. Well, in some cases, maybe hope is what inspires all of us to do amazing things and capture our dreams. It also keeps us moving forward into a meaningful life of purpose and direction.
We are all going through a hard time, but know that no one is alone. We are all in this together as a team, and most importantly, I believe in this team. I know all of you guys do too. Which is why we will get through these hard times with determination and deliberate strength and be able to see each other again.
So on that note, grab a blanket and some hot chocolate or something that you like and start reading! :)
