I was wrapped around a lot of blankets, laying in my bed, when I heard the sharp crystal sound from my phone. I immediately picked up and heard his loud, but sweet voice waking me up from a dreamless sleep.
I feel like I can never remember what I dreamt; it's pretty difficult if you ask me. But it's always possible.
I groaned, my usual ugly groan, and then, after a couple minutes, I slowly rose out of my bed to do my normal morning routine.
"We have advisory," I thought happily as I got dressed, "My favorite," and of course, it was my favorite because I have an fascinating advisor. Also, the conversations that we have as a group are really interesting.
He was playing video games as I went downstairs to prepare breakfast for my family: omelets! Flipping the eggs is pretty difficult, but I believe that I mastered it perfectly. This is because now, my omelets actually look like a real omelete!
I was very excited and happy when my parents complimented the breakfast I decided to cook for them. My cooking was getting better since we have so much time during quarantine to try new things.
So my advice for today is to try things that you have never tried before or never found interesting because who knows, maybe you will like it in the long-run.
During advisory, we talked about the project that we are working on for our Tower Hill Time Capsule.
So I wanted to start with a thank you! Thank you to my English teacher at Tower Hill! Thank you for inspiring me to start writing! Without you, I wouldn't truly find my passion, so thank you so much! I really appreciate it! Thank you for believing in me and always giving me really good advice!
I wasn't sure how today is going to go. I mean, no one really knows the future, so I just prepare for the best and possibly the worst; what else can you do?
I had a couple classes in the morning as usual, which are always very interesting. I'm really excited since it's almost Friday, which means that it's almost the weekend!
Then, I worked on my second blanket for MSAG during Faculty Work Time. It was very peaceful and relaxing since I decided to watch another movie, which is very typical.
Today, I decided to watch Rogue One. I am a huge Star Wars fan, and definitely have watched this movie about 35 times. It is one of my favorites since it was created differently from the rest of the movies. However, I do love the other movies like the Rise of Skywalker as my other favorites.
I learned from this movie to never give up because anything can happen if you put the work into it. Jyn never gave up and continued to fight for her beliefs, leading to the success in the next movies. With her perseverance, Leia was able to get the Death Star plans, changing Star Wars history forever.
It also taught me that confidence is vital in hard situations; to always believe in yourself and keep smiling. Positively is a virtue that brings us and the people around us joy. So keep your head held high because everything will be okay.
I continued watching this movie while eating a cheeseburger for lunch with my mom. We laughed at the funny parts, and overall, it was a great lunch!
Afterwards, I had a couple more classes until school was over at 2:45. I then helped my mom with the dishes and laundry. We listened to some music on spotify while doing so which was really fun!
Later, I had salmon and soup for dinner, which was very nice, and my family and I watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I learned from this movie that true love is eternity; no matter what happens or any truth that comes out, if a person loves you truly, they will always be there for you at the end.
~At the end of the day, everything will be okay!~
