May 22, 2020

I woke up with the sound of sharp crystals in my ears from my phone ringing like usual. It's him calling me to wake me up, so I'm not late for morning meeting.

And thankfully, I was never late for morning meeting, ever.

So I wanted to start with a thank you! And thank you to all of the other teachers at Tower Hill! You guys truly inspire us to achieve great things and make sure everyone is safe everyday! So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!

Before my usual routine, we said our goodbyes as normal, and I had a little time to spare before morning meeting, so I decided to do a little workout.

I played some pingpong with my dad, did a little boxing in my basement, and ran outside in the sunny weather.

I made it just in time for morning meeting, and then I had a couple classes today, but at least, it's Friday!

After my two classes, I had faculty work time, where I knitted my blankets for MSAG like I always like doing in this time. I also watched Glee while doing so.

Later, I made lunch with my family, and we made grilled cheese and watched the movie: Mr. and Mrs. Smith, which is always fun!

I decided to reread a book today, which is the first Maze Runner! It was really nice to sit down with some strawberry lemonade and just read.

So my advice is that words bring us power and knowledge, pick up a book and read when you have time. It really makes a difference. It also doesn't matter if you already read it or not. Books are what fills our mind with passion.

After my last class, I finished up homework and studied for tests and quizzes like usual, and then, I went outside just to get some fresh air.

It was really nice to be outside and relaxing in your own imagination and not worrying about anything even with the hard times right now. But I know that we will all get through this together!

Afterwards, I decided to make dinner with my family like usual, and we made pasta with meatballs and a side of sliced bread! Meanwhile, we also finished watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

I called him for our usual facetime calls, and we talked until we got really tired and said goodbye.

~Everyday is a mystery, so why worry about it.~
