|It's easy to say you want something. It's the action of doing it that becomes hard.
Ten months soon passed, Deku and I both trained our bodies to their limits. It had gotten to a point where he even overworked himself so bad that All Might had to get involved. As for myself, my parents were at fault for my own exhaustion. It was finally here though, the day we were anticipating was finally here...exam day.
I was sitting nearby on a bench dozing off as Deku trained a bit more before we headed out. I felt exhausted, Deku had barely let me sleep last night. "Good morning, dark princess," I heard All Might say as he walked up to the bench I sat at. Before I could reply we both jolted at the sound of Deku's yell, there he stood his hands at his sides balled up into fist as he yelled to his hearts content. That's when I heard All Might gasp.
"No way, kid. You even cleaned outside the area I told you to. With a few minutes to spare too,"
I looked around, it's true he had cleaned more than the pro hero had intended him to. "Holy crap," I heard All Might say as we both looked up at Deku. He swayed a bit before beginning to fall only to be caught by All Might. I quickly made my way over, looking at Deku. In the span of just ten months he had shaped his body into a well built and chiseled form. I giggle softly, "you did it."
"All your hard work has finally paid off, now for your reward," All Might cheered. "Creep," I mumbled out receiving a slight glare. I stuck my tongue out at the pro hero before looking at Deku. "Izuku Midoriya, remember...I chose you for a reason," as he finished I watched as he lifted his hand stroking a part of his hair before pulling a blonde strand out.
"Eat this."
Our faces dead-panned, what? Deku stared blankly before mustering a quick huh, "in order to inherit my power you have to swallow some of my DNA." I covered my mouth, a weak attempt at stifling my laughter. It wasn't long before I was doubled over, tears welling up in my eyes. "No way, what? You're kidding," I managed to say between laughs. "I had no idea you were this much of a creep," I continued, holding my stomach, "say you're kidding please."
"There's no time for this, dark princess, young Midoriya you'll be late if you don't hurry. Now, hurry and eat. Eat. Eat." He shoved the strand into Deku's face, Deku squealed before releasing a sudden high-pitched scream.

Both Deku and I had rushed over to the entrance of the school, slowing down as we reached the gate. Deku held his mouth, I laughed slightly before he gave me a small scowl. "I may have swallowed the hair but I don't feel any different," he mumbled through his hand. I patted his back softly, "just don't be too careless, we made it on time but you didn't get a chance to test it out." He nodded before tripping over something,
"Deku! Princess..." we both heard a familiar voice say, I saw Deku tense up his eyes widening slightly. "Get out of my way before I set you both on fire," Kacchan growled as he walked passed both of us. "Good morning! Let's both do our best, yeah?" Deku replied nervously. "Good morning to you too," I said, he turned to me slightly before continuing to walk passed us.
We both started to walk forward slightly behind Kacchan, I looked down at Deku's legs. He was shaking, "you got this. You don't have to be scared of him anymore," I poked his side softly. Before he could reply, he tripped over his own foot. "Are you okay? Good thing I caught you," a sweet voice chirped. I looked to my side, a girl the same age as us with short brown hair smiling wide at us. "I stopped you with my quirk, I'm sorry I didn't ask," she continued.
Shes adorable, and super nice, I thought before looking back at Deku. He was stunned, his eyes seemingly taking her in, "well I hope to see you in there. Good luck," she waved as she continued to walk. "She was nice," I spoke as Deku looked on, his mouth open. Deku began laughing, "holy crap I just talked to a girl." I rolled my eyes, smacking his head, "one: you're embarrassing. Two: what am I? And three:you didn't actually talk."
He shrugged before continuing to walk again, we both reached the inside of the building. I gripped my bag before turning to him, "This is where we have to part ways." He nodded before giving me a smile, "do your best, your sister would be so happy you're here." I nodded, returning the smile. "You too, and don't do anything dumb while I'm gone," I punched him softly on the shoulder before turning and walking the opposite direction of him.
Can you see me sis? I'm trying.
