I sat in the locker room, staring down at the strawberry biscuits in my hand. My grip tightened when I heard the door open, the cold energy engulfing the empty room. I allowed myself to smile, "let's do our best," I bowed my head towards him. No response. "You saw the brackets didn't you? If I win against you, I'll be going against Midoriya," Todoroki spoke, his glare intensifying. I hummed, picking out one of the strawberry sticks. I took a bite out of it, "I did. I may not care about winning as much as you do. But you and I both know it won't be that easy," I paused, "ever since I've met you...not once have I seen you use your left side. Until today that is."
"What's your point?" He said, I turned to him. "Will you be able to beat me using only half your power?" His face showed no emotion, "I won't hold back," I continued, "you've probably been training since you were a little but so have I." His face scrunched just a bit, barely noticeable. "Take it how you want, threat or warning. But...I'd break that habit soon."

"Hero course student: Midoriya Izuku, versus, general studies student: Shinso Hitoshi. Rules are simple, either immobilize or force your opponent out of the ring."
I stared down at the arena from my seat, eager to see Deku fight. Although, my nerves were still high. "Begin!" I continued to watch as Deku yelled something running towards his opponent but then he just froze. Ojiro stood up, his hands on his head, "I told him not to talk to that guy!" Deku showed an expressionless face as he turned on his heels beginning to walk out of bounds. I jumped from my seat, "what is he doing? Deku..." he continued to walk, Shinso smirking. My grip tightened on the railing as I leaned forward, "What the heck are you doing!?" I felt someone pull me back, "you'll end up falling like that don't be dumb princess!" Kacchan yelled, his eyes glared down at Shinso.
Suddenly a blast of wind lifted a cloud of dust, "what's this?! Midoriya stopped just in time! Woahhh" Deku gasped for air, his eyes wide, "he...he broke his fingers," I mumbled. Deku ran forward pushing back Shinso, Shinso continued talking sending him a hard right punch. Deku continued, Shinso punched again this time at his broken fingers sending Deku forward towards the ground, "you lucky brat!" Shinso attempted to push him out, with a quick maneuver Deku grabbed on to Shinso's shirt flipping him over his head and slamming him on the ground hard. I looked at Kacchan from the corner of my eye, that was the move he used against him.
"Shinso is out of bounds. The winner is Midoriya Izuku." Midnight cracked her whip.
I released the breath I had been holding, "What an amazing move! Totally Midoriya style," Iida said. Uraraka nodded, "oh, aren't you going next Kana?" I nodded, smiling towards her. "Yeah, it's super nerve racking though, I'm going against Todoroki" I tapped my head, "I wonder how that's going to turn out, both your quirks are similar," Kirishima pointed out. I nodded, "yeah, I just hope he doesn't feel the need to hold back." I turned to the crowd, focusing on endeavor, "I'm sure you'll be fine! You're both super strong anyway," Kirishima smiled. "Thanks, Kiri-chan," I smiled, I got up and began walking towards the arena.
"Princ—ehh...err...Kan-chan," I turned on my heel facing Kacchan. He rubbed the back of his neck, a nervous tick he did when he was unsure, "don't lose! Like Deku, I want to beat you too, idiot!" I blinked, unsure of what to respond before I smiled towards him. "Right," I continued to walk down stepping out into the light, I heard my name being called. Waving at my classmates I gave them a smile, and stepped in bounds facing Todoroki.
His glare was even more frightening than usual, a certain coldness to it similar to the recommendation exams. "Todoroki?" I questioned, no response, "I won't be holding back...so I don't expect you to either."
"Here we have two classmates of class 1-a! Both coming in through recommendations: Takahashi, Kana a well skilled young girl, versus, Todoroki Shoto who's too strong for his own good! Any words from you Aizawa?" Present mic cheered.
"Not really..."
"There you have it folks! Aizawa is a terrible teacher!"
"What?"
"Anyway! Let's see how this goes!!!" I caught a glimpse of endeavor his eyes showing an equally cold glare to Todoroki's. I sucked in a quick breath, "begin!" Midnight snapped her whip.
