|"Thank you," I smiled at the flower shop girl, her face flushing slightly as she nodded. I left the shop and began my way up the hospital floors. Entering a room, I excused my intrusion, "funny, I thought I told the nurse no visitors." I frowned, "you did," Ai-chan signed and attempted to sit up, "how'd you get in?" Carefully placing the bouquet of flowers on a table, I sat on the chair beside the bed. "I told the nurse I was your daughter," Ai-chan's eyes squinted behind just bandaged face, "you lied." "I did," I nodded, "so...when were you going to tell me you were my teacher? Ai-chan," I noticed his body slightly tense.
"I wasn't planning to, I wanted to avoid it as long as possible," he grumbled. "Well, clearly you knew," I sighed, "so when did you realize it was me?" I placed my hands behind my head, intertwining my fingers. "The quirk test, when you threw the softball," he confessed, "mmm...and you just decided to hide it? Keep it to yourself," I felt flustered taking at the thought. "I didn't expect you to become a hero student," he diverted my question, I chuckled, "I didn't think you to become a teacher." "You look just like her too," he added, "I thought after what happened you decided not to be one." I sighed, "yeah, that's what I thought so too. Somehow, Deku and Kacchan rhey need someone to protect them."
"How...how have you been since then?" He questioned.
"Since Pele died? I've been better, I could say. I was moved back to my parents. They hardly spend time there, and when they do I usually don't go home. But after the training with all might...my dad waited found me outside the school," my hands rested at my knees now, slowly scrunching the hem of my skirt. "Is that how you got those bruises on your face?... I see Akito hasn't changed at all these past few years." I let out a slightly bitter laugh, "that's the understatement of the year, he's done nothing but make my life miserable." That afternoon, I spent speaking with Ai-chan, my bitter feelings diminishing as the hours passed.
"Thank you," Ai-chan grumbled, as I stood up to leave, "you really are just like her."
I stared blankly at him, unsure of what to say. I shook my head, a small smile appearing on my face, "not really, she was so much more."

"I wonder who'll be teaching class today, with Mr. Aizawa out of commission like that..."
"No idea, maybe it'll be one of the other pros!"
"Class! Cut the chatting and get seated!" Iida commanded, standing at the front of the desk. "You're the only one standing," Kirishima commented, holding back his chuckle. "I've failed as a class rep," Iida said, beginning to mope as he went to his seat. "Where were you yesterday? You never came over," Deku asked, turning back to see me. I just shrugged lightly, "no where specific. I visited a friend." I looked to the side, Todoroki focused on his hands. With a light tilt of my head I whispered a quick hey. His eyes flickered over to me, "why are you staring at your hands?"
Before he could answer the door to the class flung open, a very bandaged up Ai-chan entering the class. "Hello class," he greeted. "Just because of this incident happening doesn't mean you're allowed to slack off...we have further training to do," he continued as he made his way to the front desk. "The sports festival is just around the corner and you'll have to prepare for it," Jiro raised her hand, "is it such a good idea to host such a big event after the usj break in?" Ai-chan sighed, "the school believes its best to do it to show that our campus is safe, add on the fact that security will be beefed up this time around." Blinking a few times, I tapped Deku on the shoulder, "this is a huge event right? It's where we could possibly get scouted?" He nodded, a dorky smile appearing on his face. "If you're aiming to go pro one day, this event is the way to impress those heroes agencies," Ai-chan's eyes locked with mine, I gave a slight nod. Resting my chin on the palm of my hand, I continued to listen, "all this being said, make sure not to slack off on training."
"Yes sir!"
"Class is dismissed," with that we were released on our lunch break. "I'm so pumped for these games," Kirishima yelled, his fist punching the air. "What agencies are you guys aiming for?" Kaminari intervened.
"I'll be going for best jeanist,"
"I think I'll go for fourth kind! He's so amazing and a real man!"
"What about you Kana?" I stared at Kirishima for a second, "hmm?" I hadn't been listening, my mind drifting back to my conversation with Ai-chan. "What agencies do you want to impress?" He asked again. "I'm not sure, I don't really know much about the games. I usually just watch with the games with Deku and let him geek out. Normally, I help auntie with dinner while they happen," I gave a sheepish shrug. "Really?" He chuckled, "you seem like the type to study hard." I gave a small nod, my smile widening slightly, "well, I won't deny that but as far as hero stuff I sort of grew out of it." "Then why did you decide to be a hero?" Kirishima raised a brow, with a hum I looked at him confused, "I guess...I wouldn't know what to tell you right now."
I wanted to protect them...
He nodded, giving me a quirky smile. "Don't think too hard right now, after all we're still young." I smiled back, keeping my thought to myself.
