I'm so glad the written exam is done, the written portion of the recommendation exam wasn't difficult at all. It was just time consuming, the test itself couldn't have been any easier. "Now that the written portion of the exam is done you will now change into your sporting wear to prepare for the physical examinations," a teacher waved, they motioned for the females to head to one side while the boys headed in the opposite direction. "Alright, time for the real challenge," I mumbled quietly to myself.
As I was walked out of the girls changing area, I stumbled back holding my nose as I bumped into someone. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you," I waved my hand in front of my face, the other holding my nose. "You are totally okay! I am sorry! I greatly apologize!" A boy much taller than myself yelled, he quickly bowed down hitting his head on the floor. I stared blankly, "oh..mm blood," I pointed as I took out a handkerchief. "It's completely fine! See!" He quickly knocked on his head, I laughed lightly as I began dabbing at the cut on his head. "You sure are enthusiastic," I smiled at him, his demeanor quickly changing as he looked down to me.
"Like...a princess," he said, his voice dying down. I laughed awkwardly, "no, no, I'm nothing of the sort. Just being nice," I shifted my eyes to the ground. "I'm Takahashi Kana, and you are?" I watched him for a moment awaiting his response as I gave him my handkerchief. "I'm...wow...sorry. I'm Yaorashi Inasa," his voice getting loud again. "Nice to meet you, and good luck in the exam," I smiled once again before continuing to walk. From the corner of my eye, I saw him holding his mouth slightly and a light pink shade surrounding his cheeks. His head quickly shot up before he began running towards me, I slightly panicked stopping before he just reached me.
"Thank you! Takahashi-san! Please let's walk together to the exam room!" He bowed, slightly embarrassed I simply nodded and continued to walk. Before we reached the room, I saw him run ahead to another boy. I tilted my head slightly at his odd appearance, he had regular clothes and his hair was a bit weird. The right side of his hair a pretty white color while his left was a semi-bright crimson, "two colors, hmm," I simply continued walking ahead catching a glimpse of his face and Inasa. My eyes slightly widened at the dark aura around both, looks like they didn't get along.
The boy then turned around facing my direction, I stopped but didn't say anything just watched him as he walked passed me. His face holding a cold and unforgiving glare, I merely watched as he left Inasa standing on his own slightly distraught. I wonder what happened...
After a moment, I snapped out of my thoughts and waved for Inasa since he still seemed a bit in shock. He looked down, his fist clenching at his sides before he released his hold and jogged into the room. "Good luck, Takahashi-san! Let's do our best!" He grinned, I nodded giving him a small smile. "Okay! Now that you're all changed and ready here are your instruction: using your quirks you will race to get to the finish line through this agility course!" The teacher sang out. Taking a deep breath, I looked at the agility course examining each part.
1...2...3....
A horn went off as I felt two giant gust of power on either side of me, blinking quickly I looked on seeing a giant glacier like object to my left and dust lifting from strong gust of wind to my right. With a quick nod, I followed. I pushed myself up with the ground, creating a step for myself to climb the ice. Gently brushing back my hair, I created a board of ice beneath my feet whipping my arms back harshly as I turned the ice into a huge tidal wave, pushing me forward towards the lead. I watched from a few feet behind as Inasa jumped ahead using another gust of wind, leaving the split haired boy slightly shocked. Our timings differed by mere seconds, Inasa coming in first, the boy whom I'd later find out to be Todoroki ( son of pro-hero endeavor) second, and myself in third. "Great job out there, you were absolutely incredi.." Inasa was quickly cut off. "I wasn't here to compete with you or whatever, I just came to pass the test," his eyes looked forward, but at the same time not looking at all, "you're just in the way." I cocked my head to the side slightly, I opened my mouth to speak before deciding against it and looking at Inasa. He seemed again taken aback by the cold demeanor, I shook my head slightly before walking past both boys and exiting the training area.
Walking into the girls changing room I grabbed my bag taking out a small powder blue towel, I cleaned my face slightly before relaxing on a seat. "I wonder...what his problem was...what or rather who was he so mad at." I shook my head beginning to exit out of the room, again bumping into someone for a second time. I looked up, this time left speechless; "oh...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you," I smiled softly. "You're...Todoroki right? Good job earlier," I continued before he shot me a short glare and continued to walk past me.
"He has the same look I had," I frowned.
