Now...

I walk forward. I say forward but I can feel that I'm not walking in a general direction. My mind is still not in its proper state and I'm irritated at the fact that I can't see where I'm going.

"Huh?" I step onto something and immediately pull back my foot.

"Argh..." I heard a groan from there.

I guess it was safe to assume that it was a person.

I was about to check and see who it was when the sudden pain attacked my chest. This strange indescribable  emotional pain hit me and I fell to my knees.

"Of all the times..." I cursed under my breath and clutched my chest.

My <Cursed Vision> activated involuntarily and I saw the different colours again. This mist was filled the brim with dark magic. It was almost safe to assume that this mist's entire constitution came from this dark magic.

Strange feelings of anger, nausea, hatred, regret and other things felt like they were overwhelming me. I couldn't stand up properly because of the week feeling in my legs.

Why does it keep happening?

Suddenly, something strange happened. The mist around me started to rapidly disperse, making everything around me more visible. I started to see everything more clearly.

A minute or two had passed then I could see everything.

I was inside a stone building. Judging from the cracks and the faded colouring I could tell that it had was a really old place. The square room was large enough that I could most like fit four of the guildhouse buildings in effortlessly. The ceiling had gems attached to it that gave the room lighting similar to feeling of being outside. I could also see multiple symbols and magic circles engraved all over the place.

Assorted plant life had started to take up residence within the cracks on the building. That also explained why I was walking on grass.

It's strange. Even though the mist had dissipated I could still feel a strong sense of bloodlust around me. I found it hard to breathe.

"... Cough! Gah!" I looked down and saw that the person lying in front of me was Lucinda.

"Lucinda!" I kneeled down in front of me to check if anything was wrong.

She did not respond to my voice and was continuing to cough ecstatically. I noticed that her leg was wounded and immediately started casting <Healing Touch>.

"Hey, Lucinda," I spoke. "Don't worry, I'll save you."

Hearing my voice seemed to calm her down as she stopped coughing and rested snugly. It looked like she was peacefully sleeping. Seeing her like this also seemed to help in calming me down because I was able to properly think now. I just need to figure out a way to get us out of this place.

"Where are we anyways?" I mutter the question and turn around to get my bearings.

That's when I froze.

What was lying in front of me was the head of an extremely large snake. I could not see where it's body ended.

"Yo," I hear someone's voice and I reflexively looked up to see someone sitting on the head of the snake.

It's strange. Everything about this person is making me sentimental. I've never felt a feeling of nostalgia so strong before. What also confused me was the fact that the pain in my chest completely disappeared.
