Chapter 7: Long Time, No See

At the grand opening, Lily was in line spying on what was going on. Aspen walked over to her with a brown fashionable hat on. "What are you wearing?" Lily asked rolling her eyes with annoyance in her voice. "Hey! They gave me a good deal!" Aspen said. "Shh! Look!" Lily said shushing Aspen as she looked over at Rose. Rose used the scissors and opened the school. Everyone cheered besides Lily. Aspen was cheering though. Lily looked at Aspen with a glare. "What?" Aspen asked. "That's not me, remember?! I'm me!" Lily said. Aspen rolled her eyes then saw a dog walking towards them. "Uh, Lily, either that's a very accurate resemblance to Bark or that's-" Aspen started then Lily said, "Bark!" Lily walked up to Bark and said, "Bark!  I've got somethin' to say to you, Mister!" Then Kano put a box over Lily and Aspen. "Hey!" Aspen yelled. "Seriously?" Lily said annoyed. "What do we do with them?" Kano asked. "Just ship 'em to Nashville," Bark said. "Nashville!?!?" Aspen and Lily both freaked. "Quiet you two!" Kano said.

Kano put Lily and Aspen in two separate cages and then put them on a truck that was headed for Nashville.

A few hours later...

"Aspen? Where are you?" Lily asked as she woke up. She noticed she was in a cage. 
Where are we?" Aspen asked opening her eyes. "I don't know. I can't see anything. Kano must of covered the cages. Move around." Lily said. Aspen started to shake her cage. Lily did the same. Then the truck stopped. Aspen and Lily gasped. Lily started to feel around then felt that she was sitting in something. "Um, Lily, I think I'm sitting in something dangerous." Aspen said. "Yeah, me, too," Lily said. Then she knew what she was sitting in. She gulped. "EXPLOSIVES!!!!" Lily freaked. Aspen started screaming. "Screw you, Kano!" Lily yelled. "What do we do?!" Aspen asked. "Calm down, we can do this. Just scream!" Lily said. Lily and Aspen started screaming. "Are you okay in there?" A voice asked. "NO! We're stuck in a cage full of explosives!" Lily said. "Hang on, I'm getting you out of there." The voice said. Just then, Lily and Aspen's cages opened and much to Lily's surprise, she saw a Bernese mountain dog. "...Pluto?" Lily said. The dog thought for a minute then perked his ears up. "LILY!!" He exclaimed jumping up and down. The two dogs laughed in happiness as the jumped over each other and nuzzled. "I'm confused. Who's he?" Aspen asked. "Oh, Aspen, this is my... um... friend, Pluto." Lily said smiling at Pluto. "Hey," Pluto said. "Nice to meet you. So, uh, so nice bumping into you but we've really got to get going. As you can see, we're far from home- WHAT?!? WE'RE IN NASHVILLE?!??!!!!" Aspen freaked. "Lily, shouldn't you be in Australia?" Pluto asked. "No, Mia and I both decided living in Australia and Pup Star being in New York, it would be really difficult for me to compete again so we moved to New York. So... here we are." Lily said. "Oh! So you did win Pup Star, huh?" Pluto asked smiling. "Yes, that's me. "Lily, the World Famous Pup Star"." Lily joked. Pluto chuckled nervously and said, "Uh, Lily, I think that we should talk. About some stuff..." "Yeah, I think so, too..." Lily frowned. "Wait, what?! But what about home!?! What about getting back to NEW YORK!??!!!!" Aspen yelled. "Oh, yeah. Do you think you could tell me later?" Lily asked looking at Pluto. "No, I REALLY need to talk to you... Please." Pluto said. "O-OK. Aspen, how about you find us a train to get back to New York." Lily said. Aspen groaned and said, "Kk," Once Aspen walked away, Pluto smiled at Lily and said, "She seems nice," "Yeah, she's pretty bossy though. She reminds me of Katie back home." Lily said. "Katie?" Pluto asked tilting his head in confusion. "Oh, she's my manager," Lily told him. "Ah, got it," Pluto said nodding his head. 

Back in New York

Rose was in the spa getting a massage. She had cucumbers on her face and she had a robe on. She sighed in relaxation. "I'm lovin' life," she said. "Lily, we've been here for a while. Don't you think we should get back home so you can practice your song again? Besides, Duchess Rosie and Duke Archie are still waiting for you at the gala." Mia said. "Tell their royal Highnesses I'll be... there... in... five... minutes... ah..." Rose said. She was way too relaxed. Mia sighed in annoyance and went back on her phone. She looked at Magnus who was sitting next to her who was also annoyed. "Wanna take a selfie?" Mia asked him. "Uh... why?" Magnus asked totally creeped out. "I'm just bored, OK!!?" Mia said. Rose sighed again in relaxation.
