Chapter 10: Really, Aspen? Really?

That same morning, Lily asked Daisy, "Sooo... are we headed straight for New York?" "Yes, but there will be some stops on the way." Daisy answered. "As long as they don't take too long. I-" Lily started then Daisy said with a chuckle, "Lily, you need to breathe. I know you're panicked about this and I would be, too if I was you. You have every right to be stressed about this but stressing won't get you any closer to the Pup Star finales." "It's not the Pup Star Finales I'm worried about..." Lily said. Daisy thought Lily was gonna say something really nice so she smiled big. But much to Daisy's surprise, Lily just said, "It's the Pup Star round 2 I'm worried about!" Daisy groaned and sighed from annoyance. She hung her head and kept on walking.

A few hours later...

Everyone was now running and Lily exclaimed, "Come on, guys! Just a little further until we're in Tennessee!" Aspen stopped at a sharp stop and yelled, "WAIIIIIT!!!" "Aspen?!? What is it?!?" Lily asked looking back at Aspen. Aspen pointed to a beauty store. Lily rolled her eyes and groaned. "Aspen, we don't have time for that." Lily said. Aspen gasped and argued, "I've been following you around for three days straight! I think I deserve something that makes me happy!" Lily just groaned. "She makes a pretty good point," Pluto and Daisy both said to Lily at the same time smiling. Lily looked at Daisy and Pluto like they lost their minds. "What? Just sayin'." Pluto smiled. Lily groaned once more and finally said, "Fine,"

~Three hours later~

Aspen came out of the shop with shopping bags and dresses galore! Lily was sitting outside by a pole impatiently tapping her paw up and down fast. "Heh, hey, L. What's up? How-how's it goin'?" Pluto asked nervously. He was stuck holding all of Aspen's bags. Lily raised her eyebrow and yelled, "DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG YOU GUYS WERE IN THERE?!?!! WE'VE WASTED THREE HOURS OF THE DAY AND NOW IT'S THE AFTERNOON!! WHAT WERE YOU GUYS DOING IN THERE!?!!?" "Look, it's not my fault. Aspen made me carry all her bags. The biggest ones anyway..." Pluto said. "It's good to see that shop hasn't changed you! You're still the same stray who never takes the blame!" Lily yelled. Pluto was silent and then he lowered his ears. Lily sighed and said, "Pluto... I didn't mean that. I'm just really angry. I just want to get home and get my life back. But it feels like you guys are just slowing me down." "I... I don't mean to slow you down. I'm just really into fashion..." Aspen said. "It's fine! Everything's fine! It's all fine!!!!!!! But you're not taking all this stuff with us. And by the way, how much did it cost?" Lily asked concerned. Pluto hesitated and looked at Aspen who was also hesitating. "A couple thousands... but-" Pluto started then lily freaked, "WHAT?!!?!?!?!??!!?!?! Who's card did you use?!?!??!?!" Lily asked still freaking out. Pluto and Aspen hesitated about that, too. Lily looked at both of them back and fourth in a creepy mad way. Pluto nudged Aspen and backed away. No way he was gonna get yelled at for something he didn't do. "Yours..." Aspen admitted. Lily was silent for a minute then tried to attack Aspen. But Daisy held her back.

~Back in New York~

Brody walked into Mia and Lily's house with Cassy and said, "Yo, Mia, is Lily home? I need her for a sec." "Uh-" Just as Mia was about to say something, Rose walked in and said, "Yeah, I'm here. What's up?"

Ugh! Gross! I hate this guy! Hopefully he breaks up with me so I don't have to kiss him again!

"This is a friend. Her name's Cassy." Brody smiled. "Hi, I live in the house next to you. I'm Prissy's daughter." Cassy smiled. "She'd like a autograph." Brody said. "Of course. Anything for my fan." Rose smiled fake and then stamped her paw print onto Cassy's picture of Lily. Cassy screamed and said, "OMG! I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT AN AUTOGRAPH FROM THE SECOND WORLD-FAMOUS PUP STAR!!! AHHHH!!! IT'S LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE!!!" Rose smiled and then raised an eyebrow and thought about what she said.

"Um, heh, I'm sorry, Mia needs to schedule an ear cleaning appointment for me. Did you say "second" famous?" Rose asked before Cassy and Brody left. Mia rolled her eyes when Rose said "Mia needs to schedule an appointment for her". "Um, yeah, EVERYONE knows that Tiny is the first world-famous Pup Star." Cassy said. Rose glared at Cassy then said, "Um, pfft, I could beat Tiny at a singing competition ANY day." Rose said. "Prove it," Cassy said smiling friendly. "Mia, arrange a singing competition in the Pup Star venue. I need to teach this pampered pet a lesson." Rose said, still glaring at Cassy. Mia didn't even bother saying anything and just walked away.
