After being the beloved Pup Star champion for a year, Lily must defend her title as a new season of Pup Star arrives in this all-new story Pup Star: The New Pup Star 2! She's grown into a 10 month old dog. Lily has been one of the rich and famous do...
As Lily was walking around, she knocked into some dogs. "Oh, uh... sorry. Excuse me." Lily said as she tried to make her way around them. She sighed and looked around trying to find a way to get home. She passed a store and then an American Eskimo came out. "Hey, pup. I saw you in the crowd of people. You okay?" The female dog asked. "Um, yeah, I'm fine. But do you think you could hep me get back home? I think I live just a few miles down the block but I'm terrible at remembering where my house is." Lily said. "Wait a minute... you're Lily!" The dog exclaimed. "Yep, that's me. It's good to know somebody believes I'm the real Lily." Lily said. "What do you mean?" The dog asked. "I don't have time to explain but do you think you could help me get back home?"Lily asked. The dog looked down at Lily's paw and said, "Sure but first we're getting you to the vet."
At the vet...
"She hurt her leg bone but it didn't break. You'll have a wrap around your paw for at least five days." The vet said. "OK, thanks, Dr. Genie," Lily said as she left with the American Eskimo. "I'm Aspen by the way," The American Eskimo said. "Oh, nice to meet you. You already know me." Lily smiled. She started to warm up to her. "So what exactly is going on?" Aspen asked.
Meanwhile...
"Hey, Mia, I think I finally got the hang of my voice! Listen." Rose exclaimed happily and excitedly. Rose sang a line of a song and Mia said, "Lily, that was great! But that doesn't sound like your singing voice." "Does everything have to be perfect for you?" Rose snapped. "Um, nevermind. It's fine. Uh, I think you should practice singing your song once more before Wednesday." Mia said raising her eyebrow. Once Rose finished singing the song she was gonna sing for the second round of Pup Star, Magnus came in and said, "Hey, Lily, that was great." "Um, thanks... who are you... heh?" Rose asked. "Um... Magnus? Remember? Your body guard that you've known since you became a pup star...?" Magnus said raising an eyebrow in confusion. "Oh! Right... um, lo síento. I-I'm sorry. I woke up not remembering anything, heh." Rose said. "Right... well anyway, it's time for your grand opening at the school." Magnus said. "Kk," Rose smiled as she left the house and jumped in the passenger seat of Mia's car. "Kk? Lily never says "kk"." Magnus said. "Something's off about her," Mia told Magnus. "Well I just got here so I wouldn't know. But I know LILY enough to know that she wouldn't PRETEND to not know me." Magnus said. "Exactly!" Mia said. Rose honked the horn and yelled, "Mia! Hurry up! We- I mean I don't want to be late for the grand school opening or whatever!" Magnus turned his head to Mia and said, "We better go before she decides to light your car on fire." Mia groaned and said, "Yep. Come on, Katie."
Meanwhile again...
"So let me get this straight. A nobody dog just suddenly took your place as world-famous pup star but first threw you in the pound for no reason?! And the leader of the scheme was that mongrel Bark who did the same thing to Tiny?" Aspen said. "Yep, pretty much," Lily said keeping her eyes on the road as she walked. "Wow. That's sick. In the bad way." Aspen commented. Lily nodded and then kept on walking. "So how do you plan on getting your place as Pup Star back? I mean, you can't just get a magic wand and say "Poof! I'm Lily, the famous pup star again! Yay!" Aspen said. "I won't have to. All I'll have to do is tell Mia something only her and I know." Lily said again. "Oh, that makes sense. It must be nice to have a owner." Aspen said. "Wait... you don't have an owner?" Lily asked looking at her with a shocked expression on her face. "No. I'm not exactly a stray though because I do have a job and I don't live on the streets. So I'm technically half-and-half." Aspen told her. "Oh, I thought you lived the pampered life being carried around in a purse. Just because your fur looks like it's brushed everyday and your super white and smell good." Lily said. "Nope. Not me. Don't have an owner." Aspen said. Lily was about to say something else but she then changed her mind. "Oh, here we are. A taxi. We can get you home." Aspen said walking up to the taxi. Aspen gave the taxi driver money then he drove them to Lily's house.
A few minutes later...
Lily and Aspen were almost to Lily's house when Aspen looked back and saw Bark and Kano chasing after them in an abandoned dog catcher van. "Uh, Lily, we got trouble," Aspen said. "I see 'em," Lily said as she put her head over to the driver. "Hey, dude, can you go a little faster?" Lily asked calmly trying not to draw attention to the van behind them. "Yeah, sure, pup. Why don't I just zoom passed all the cars and get a speed ticket?" The taxi driver said sarcastically. Lily groaned and rolled her eyes. Aspen looked back and saw Bark and Kano catching up. "Uh, um, Lily?" Aspen said getting nervous. "That's it, give me the wheel!" Lily snapped as she took her paw and took a sharp turn on the right. "Hey!" The taxi driver yelled. "Where'd they go?!" Kano yelled. As Kano and Bark were looking for them, Lily drove right into a fire hydrant. Aspen and Lily got out of the taxi and ran away to go hide from Bark and Kano. "Lily, you shouldn't be running with a hurt leg! The vet said so!" Aspen called out as she ran with Lily. "Well right now it's either life or death and I don't know about you but I choose life! Because right now, I'm too young to die!" Lily called back as she jumped behind a bush with Aspen. "Do you see them?" Bark said. "No..." Kano said growling lowly. "Few," Aspen and Lily both said at the same time. Then Alistair appeared. "Thanks, guys! You left me in the dust!" Alistair said. "Who's that?" Lily wondered. "I don't know but he's handsome!" Aspen said drooling. Lily chuckled and said, "I hate to say it because there's no doubt he's working with the Mean Team but yeah. He's totally cute!" "Well we better get back to Rose to see how she's doing." Bark said. "I heard she's at the school grand opening." Alistair said as they all walked away. "OK, come on!" Lily said. "W-where are we going?" Aspen asked. "To the school's grand opening. I was suppose to open that school, not her!" Lily said running to the grand opening with Aspen behind her. "Huh? Wait a minute, I'm not joining you on this life threatening-adventure! Good day!" Aspen sad walking away. "Please, Aspen? You know New York better than anyone I know! Please!" Lily said smiling in a sad say. Aspen sighed and said, "Fine. But just remember that I have littler legs than you!"
