Chapter 3: The Auditions

Meanwhile, it was Broadway in Time Square! Lady Paw Paw got out of her limo and smiled for the cameras. "Lady Paw Paw, over here!" A cameraman said. "Lady Paw Paw! Here please!" Another person yelled. "Hey, little mongrels! I'm sooo happy to be back inside the Pup Star walls! It's like returning home!" Lady Paw Paw exclaimed as she walked the red carpet. "Dog Knarly!" A man shouted. "Yeah, Mon! I'm so excited to be here! Find peace!" Dog Knarly said as he walked the red carpet. Then Tiny walked the red carpet. The most people shouted for Tiny and asked for her autograph. "OMD, it's so great to be back on Pup Star!" Tiny said. "And the newest judge... Carrie Underwoof!" A man yelled. "Howdy, everyone! I can't wait to be on my first episode of Pup Star!" Carrie Underwoof said. "Carrie, over here!" A woman yelled. Carrie Underwoof then walked the red carpet. Rover got out of his limo and walked the red carpet. "Rover! Smile for the camera!" A man smiled. "And now for the contestants!" Somebody said. Once all five of the contestants walked the red carpet, Lily got out of her limo and walked the red carpet, too. "OMG, LILY!!" A woman exclaimed. Lily smiled for the pictures and then used a paw stamp signed her fan's autographs. "Hi, everyone! I can tell this is gonna be one Pup Star season I'll never forget!" Lily said walking the red carpet. "Lily, how do you plan to win Pup Star?" A person asked. "Well I'm gonna sing from my heart. My heart is one of the strongest parts of me." Lily answered. "Lily! Do you hope to win Pup Star? Please win Pup Star!" A woman asked. "I'll do my best, that's for sure! And if I don't win, I hope the dog that won will experience the excitement and goodness of winning and being beloved by all! I'm truly grateful I got this far." Lily said. "OK, everyone, that's enough! Lily has answered too many questions and she needs to get on stage." Katie said. Katie was Lily's manager. Everyone then yelled, "Wait, Lily, Lily!"

~Inside the Pup Star Venue~

"Welcome back everyone to the world's most famous talent show! This is Pup Star New York! First let's meet our judges! Lady Paw Paw! Dog Knarly! Tiny! And our newest judge... Carrie Underwoof!" Rover exclaimed. The whole audience clapped. "Unfortunately, Simon Growl could not judge on here this season due to some... ahem, technical difficulties. He will be missed. Now let's meet our contestants. First up, the golden dog... Emily!" Rover said. Everyone clapped. Then a golden retriever came on stage.

After the song was over, everyone clapped. Tiny, Lady Paw Paw, Carrie Underwoof, and Dog Knarly all pressed yes for Jenny, "Great, job, Emily! Next up is Liam!" Rover said. A black and white husky came on stage and smiled. Everyone clapped for him.

The audience clapped and then Rover came on stage with Liam. The judges all pressed yes for Liam, too. "A great first song, Liam! Up next is Harper!" Rover exclaimed. A red lab came on stage. The audience clapped.

"That song was actually the best song we've heard so far..." Rover said. Rover snapped out of it and said, "Everyone give a round of applause to Harper!" Lady Paw Paw pressed her golden buzzer for Harper. "Congratulations, Harper! You will be joining Lily in the Pup Star finale!" Rover said. "OMG, thank you, Lady Paw Paw! This is a dream come true!" Harper smiled. She then got off stage. "Up next is Dove!" Rover said. Everyone cheered and a white Pomeranian got on stage.

The audience clapped and all the judges pressed yes for Dove. "Thanks so much!" Dove smiled. "Congrats, Dove! You will join all three dogs in the finale! Now there's one more audition before we all see the dog we've all been waiting for! Up next is Grace." Rover said. Grace, who was a blonde poodle got on stage.

Everyone clapped and Tiny used her golden buzzer on Grace. "Thank you so much, Tiny!" Mia exclaimed happily. "Good luck, Mia! Don't let me down!" Tiny said with a smile. "And now... last but not least... the dog we've all been waiting for! The queen of pop! The star of the name Pup Star! The talented, the amazing, the-" Rover started then Katie shouted, "Just... just let her sing," "Hehe, fine. Lily!" Rover said. The whole audience stood up and applaud. Lily got on stage and sang.

The whole audience applaud. "That's my dog," Mia said bragging to a random woman. All the judges pressed yes. "Congratulations, Lily! There was no doubt. And remember, everyone, Lily's limited autograph and photo booth is just right outside these doors. It's only open for twenty minutes!" Rover said. Lily got off of stage and get led outside by her body guard, Magnus. "I can tell this will be one Pup Star season no one will ever forget!" Rover said. The whole audience clapped and cheered.
