Chapter 20: We got him😈

The next morning in New York (2 more days 'till the Pup Star finals!!!!)

"Come on, just tell me what's going on!" Mia yelled. "There's nothing going on!!" Magnus yelled back. "Then why are you being so secretive?!?" Mia asked. "I'm not! You're barkin' up the wrong tree, got it?" Magnus snapped. "I'm not leaving you alone until you tell me," Mia said raising an eyebrow. Magnus groaned and walked away. "JUST TELL ME!" Mia yelled. "NO!!!"

On the jet

Lily was singing in the kitchen of the jet. "K, and that's the song you're gonna sing?" Daisy asked. Lily nodded and asked, "You like it," "I do," Daisy said nodding. "I'll never understand how a rapper and a pop star can be related," Petunia said leaning against the wall. "And get along so well," Lily added with a smile once she looked up at her. Petunia smiled back and Pluto said as he was playing video games in the living room, "Can you believe it's only two days until the Pup Star finale? It feels like just yesterday we started our journey back to New York." "We started my journey back to New York. You just came along." Lily corrected. "Eh, still though," Pluto said going back to gaming. "Oh! Aspen. I'm so sorry. How are you gonna get back to your home?" Lily asked looking at Aspen who was spread out on the couch. "It's fine, Lily. I'll figure something out. I'm thinking about maybe just staying in New York. I didn't really have a life back where I was before I met you." Aspen said. Lily smiled at her then said, "I just can't believe I'm almost home," "And I'd love to see Mia again," Daisy said. Lily nodded.

In New York

Rose was in her dressing room at the Pup Star venue looking at herself in the mirror. Brody and Charlie were spying on her. "Look at that faker. She's so sure she's got this, doesn't she?" Brody scoffed still looking at her. "Remember the plan, Bro. We wait for Bark to get here then we record what his plan is." Charlie said. "I, uh..." Brody started. Charlie looked up at him confused. "I, well.. um... heh," "You what?" Charlie asked kinda annoyed that he wouldn't just get to the point. "See, the thing is..." Brody started again. "BRODY!" Charlie snapped. "I forgot Lou's phone to record," Brody said nervously. Charlie looked up at him slowly and then the door shut and they couldn't reach the nob. "How... do you forget, to bring the one thing we actually needed to do this?!" Charlie asked in anger but stayed calm in the best way she could. "I was putting man spray on!" Brody argued.

Charlie's mind

Idiot!

"Are you kidding me?!" Charlie whisper snapped. "I had to smell good!" Brody whisper snapped back. "We were only gonna be here for like, 5 minutes! But thanks to you, we're gonna be here until Rose is done singing her song for the finals!!" Charlie whisper snapped again. "Well I'm sorry if I actually care about my personal high gene!" Brody growled. Charlie was about to say something when someone said, "Rose, you're up," and Rose walked to the door. "What do we do?!" Brody freaked clinging to his younger sister. Charlie rolled her eyes and hid underneath a table. Once Rose left, the door locked without her knowing it. "No," came out of Charlie's mouth. "I guess that's gonna make it hard to get out of here," Brody said nervously as he looked down at her. Just then, Bark and Kano walked into the dressing room. Charlie and Brody gulped. "You just had to have your man spray!" Charlie yelled angrily.

A/N: Just pretend that this is a movie and the screen went black then came back for dramatic effect

"Bark, what's the plan again?" Kano asked raising an eyebrow. "Quick! Grab that phone!" Charlie yelled at Brody. "But it's not even ours," Brody ssid with a confused look. Charlie gave him a sharp glare and then he lowered his ears and took the phone. "Put it on recorder," Charlie said while watching Bark and Kano. "What if it has a password?" Brody asked tilting his head. "Ugh! Just put it on video!!" Charlie yelled clearly annoyed. Brody sighed and put his paw on the video button. "Hey. It's not locked." He said smiling at Charlie. She rolled her eyes and whispered, "Now shut up," "Remember, the plan is Rose is gonna lose the Pup Star finale as Lily," Bark said. Kano rolled his eyes due to Bark trying that last time.

A/N: Well more like 4 times ago but who's counting?

"What if the police come after Rose?" Kano asked. "Pfft, they can take her. As long as I win, I'm fine." Bark said. Kano tilted his head. "So he's not just a liar and unpleasant. He doesn't give a heck about Rose's safety!" Charlie snapped. Brody looked up at her and whispered, "Charlie, be quiet! They'll hear you!" Charlie looked down at him then watched them. "Now let's get out of here before someone sees us," Bark said jumping out the window. Kano groaned and followed. "Too late," Charlie smirked. Brody laughed evily then said once he pressed the "save video" button on the phone, "K, now we just gotta stay here until Rose gets back," Charlie nodded then laughed with Brody. "Wait a sec. Ugh, this is Rose's phone. I've seen her with it." Brody said annoyed. "It doesn't matter. She'll just think she dropped it or something." Charlie smirked again.

A few minutes later...

Rose walked back into her dressing room leaving the door open this time. "Go, go, go!" Charlie said running out and back to her house with Brody close behind. They were both laughing evily the entire time until they got home.
