Chapter 5: That's not Lily...

The next day, Rose woke up and said, "Wow, I'm lovin' rich and famous life already. This bed is sooo comfortable!" She went downstairs and saw Mia making breakfast. "Hi, Mia. What are you doing?" Rose asked fake smiling. "Uh... making breakfast...? Waffles! Your favorite!" Mia said. "It is? I mean... it is! Thanks so much!" Rose said. Rose really hated waffles. Katie walked in and said, "Lily, we have a lot of things to do today. You have a deluxe spa at twelve, a grand opening at the school at two, not to mention the next song you have to practice for Pup Star in two days, and then we have to get you brunch with Canine West." "I'M GONNA MEET CANINE WEST?!?!?!? AWESOME!" Rose said. Katie was freaked out. So was Mia. "Lily, are you okay?" Mia asked. "Yep, heh. Never better." Rose said chuckling. "OK... well finish up your breakfast so you can start singing." Katie said. "Um, what am I singing again?" Rose asked. Katie sighed and said, "Wolves" by Selena Gomez. I can't imagine where you would be if I wasn't here." Katie walked out of the room. Rose gulped. She wasn't much of a singer since... the day. She wasn't sure how good she would be. "You done eating, Lily?" Mia asked. "Oh. Yeah, I'm done. Thanks, Mia." Rose smiled. Mia smiled back then put Rose's plate in the dishwasher.

~A few minutes later in the living room~

"Ready, Lily?" Katie asked before she turned on the karaoke. "Y-yeah," Rose said. Katie turned on the karaoke version of "Wolves" by Selena Gomez. After she was done, Mia and Katie had earplugs in their ears. "What's with the earplugs?" Rose asked tilting her head. Katie chuckled a lot then said, "What happened?" "Lily... that was... terrible...!" Katie said. "Oh..." Rose said looking down. "Um, I'll book a vocal warm up appointment with Mrs. Z." Katie said getting out her tablet. "It sounded like you were having trouble talking earlier today. Let's get you some honey for your throat." Mia said. Rose nodded and then walked into the kitchen with Mia. Katie was busy on her tablet booking an appointment with Mrs. Z.

Later that day...

Tiny, P.U.P., Brody, Cindy, Charlie, and Rosie came over to Mia's house. "Hey, Tiny. What are you doing here?" Mia asked opening the door. "Well turns out Rosie forgot to give you one more birthday present." Tiny smiled. "Aw, thanks, Rosie. You didn't have to-" Mia started the Rosie said, "I know," "OK... Lily, Tiny's here!" Mia said. "Who? Oh, yeah. Hi, Tiny." Rose smiled. "Hi, Lily, how are you?" Tiny asked. "I'm good. According to Katie and Mia I need a vocal warm up lesson." Rose said raising her eyebrow. Mia chuckled. Brody walked over to Rose and was about to like her. Rose forgot that Lily was dating Brody. Rose dodged the lick and lied, "I, uh... have a bit of a cold. I... don't wanna get you sick." "Oh no, are you gonna be able to sing next week?" Tiny asked. "I'm sure I will," Rose said fake smiling. Tiny smiled and then Katie said, "OK, Lily, time for your spa." "Alright, by, Mia. I'll see you later." Rose said. "OK, by, Lily," Mia said. Once Rose and Katie were gone, Mia and Tiny both said, "That's not Lily," "What makes you think that?" Brody asked. "She looks different. She's darker." Tiny said. "And she has the worst singing voice in the world!" Mia said. "Well I believe it's Lily," Rosie said. "Well I'm still gonna keep an eye on her just in case." Tiny said. "Me, too," Mia said.
